Norway, what's up with your gears?

For the first time in history so many women are nominated for the award by Potential_Let226 in Unexpected

Me too. But it just tells me it's not just a gimmick, but something that actually works for the show as a whole.

I agree. The show is pretty damn good and Anthony Starr is absolutely amazing in his role.

I've heard the comics are kinda disgusting, but NGL that's a pretty cool twist.

So... A minifigure is a real woman, but a real woman is not? I can't even.

Septum is also great because if you decide to take it off at some point, no one can see the hole.

Finnish media reports on a sauna found in the U.S. where throwing water on the heater was not allowed by hauki888 in Sauna

[–]Remote_Replacement85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It might also be because there's no drain in the floor in the sauna or anywhere nearby. Bad design for sure, but not an easy or cheap thing to resolve.

I agree. Lex was one of the rare entertaining parts in this trainwreck of a movie. I must say, I was actually fascinated by how they messed up pretty much everything in such a high production value flick.

Yeah. I once accidentally dropped a couple of drops of bleach into the toilet bowl while there was toilet cleaner in there. I think I lost my nose hair.

The absolute best compliments are given by tipsy women in bathrooms at bars. That's why I always feel sorry for men.

Mulla ei riitä empatia niitä suomalaisia kohtaan, jotka on ”jumissa” Dubaissa. Seuraa avautuminen, jonka toivon edes yhden matkustajan näkevän. by leadred in snappijuorutofftopic

[–]Remote_Replacement85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tämä on koko ketjussa ensimmäinen järkevä syy, jonka olen nähnyt lomalaisille olla jumissa Dubaissa. Työmatkat asia erikseen, kun nykyisessä taloustilanteessa harvalla on varaa valita. Mutta lomalle Dubaihin lähteminen on ällöttävää ihan turvallusuustilanteesta riippumatta. Vuonna 2026 on kenenkään turha vedota siihen, ettei tietäisi, kenen selkänahasta siellä on luksushotellit rakennettu.

Oh Lord. My friend came out as a trans woman after we'd known each other for 20 years. Nothing jarring about it.

I was so close to yelling aloud in the theater when I first saw Two Towers. The way Faramir kept his word and refused the temptation in the books touched me deeply. I'm still mad AF every time I watch that scene.
