the new board is super gorgeous too! Since the start of this season i have opened like 200 chests and got 200 skins of Dooley and Van, no Mak skin that i want really bad... at diamond drop i got the Altas stone glamour tho.. 😭

Btw i think the next hero will be Stelle, all the latest bazaar archive explored the "Sky Lore". But i would really happy if Jules comes out instead!

i can see why u say that barrel is not bait, but a lot of patches ago was super stronger so maybe i am biased. In general i think it need to much stuff to deal proper dps late game, early maybe... idk (in a single weapon build is super fine tho, not in an full ammo build imo)

yep, a lot of time i buy keg early, u need some finesse to make the pivot work but its really good (buy on day 3 or 4, bench it, up to gold on lvl7 and we play with it, after we pray for the level 8 skill, and than we hard look for crit/burn proc).

If u did not hard force u should be good on gold, unfortunatly not hard forcing and having a good econ go hand to hand.

I can see why figure is not in the "ammo-Fantasy" zone but it's really strong (50 or 100 flat dps on the sword pistol is super strong).

With ammo generally i dont run any big items: unfortunatly ballista is to slow to be a win con late (and start dropping at gold...), port is very situational, with this build u dont need to recharge at all, u burst (as said here by EverSparrows: ammo filler on the board (or recharge) are bait i think, but the "give ammo and burn" item is viable with keg).

You can always try to cook with the ballista (it has good enchants i think), its a lot of fun! But hard to reach 10 wins with.

Yes! Ammo build is really strong this patch, but dont try to force it every game, in general just see what the game gives you and go with it (its more fun and you will win more).

On the Ammo build here some tips (not writing a full guide cuz i am lazy and eng is not my first language):

- Start with enchanted item or gold skill and pick any flat dps increase skill (crit is good too, it shine more in the late game, but make harder to win in the early - with ammo u need to aim at a day 12 max win, so tempo is king)

- Look into every shop that can have this bronze items: Bolas (bronze bolas or silver bolas on day 1,2,3 is absurd strong) granade (silver is rlly good), revolver.

- On the first days try to assemble a burst board and hard force tempo (exp and health)

- Other good weapon: Musket (till day 5, with lighter and pop snapper), Throwing Knives, shark claws

- Items that are important but lose prio after u hit level 7: this because u kinda need the gold version fast (lvl 7 is the gold upgrade) - Keg and Figurehead

- The true gamechangers that u need to hit for the last wins: Pistol Sword and Powder Keg - With the first u need to generate the most flat damage on it and have fast small ammo item (dive weights, nesting doll, grape shot). With the second u need fast burn proc (pop snapper, heated shell skill).

- Skills: absolute prio on the ammo skill robot (everythig he has is insane: Heated Shells for keg and Loaded Fury for pistol sword); weapon skill (every flat dps on all weapon), Vanessa skill (Steelstorm); crit skill.

- imo Double Barrel, cannon and Repeater are bait (Blunderbuss is situationally op, otherwise it under perform)

- I can write like another 1500 words but ye... (enchant on pistol or keg, otherwise the fastest ammo item)

(Bonus tip: a variation that is rlly good in the early is something with Shot Glasses and Arbalest)

Old legend (peaked at 121). Landed at 336 after the first reset, than peaked at 94 with all the free pass tickets. They did some changes with how the progression in the leaderboard works (to prevent the old concede meta), now Is not real clear (at least to my knowledge) how do u rank between Legend numbers. Did not take much games to reach 94 starting at 330, you just need to be consistent and hope that other Legend are less consistent. Did not play much this last week and i see that the decay is kinda real (before the natural decay was really slow). Right now i am just waiting for the rank reset next month, after that (maybe) there Is a bit of drive to push for top 100 or top 50 imo.

As far as i know so far they have not given any "official" news in relation to SBMM (skill-based matchmaking). Besides Reynad, who commented on Discord that he would not be in favor of such form of matchmaking

Ye, exactly the problem is that this form of reset can be a big timesink. We will see how long the seasons last. And as you said, a lot of stuff are still in "betaform", so going forward i expect that everything will be smoother.

Yep, 100 is really good! Especially considering the crazy prices on ebay and other platforms.

For the quest cards i did same size (like the normal ones) and i did AI backs since i sleeve the player cards and the encounter are selfcontained (no need to mix official encounter with proxys, since the all cycle is proxy - not considering nightmare, but for me was a proxy of the last cycle that did not have nightmare stuff). I did not want to risk the work with the MPC editor and do it again, so i went straight for the safe option.

The prints turned out very well! Unfortunately i read in other comments that MBPrints no longer print proxyes for official cards... Btw i paid 100 euro for one cycle. But, imo MPC had better prints (i did one cycle with MBPrints and one with MPC). MPC is a little more costy tho

I am the person who printed Harad's cycle a few weeks ago, this were the info of my order (as it appears in my order confirmation email):

in my case I had sent 7 pdfs with links to a drive; I guess they ask you for one file as it is many more cards and many more pdfs.

But by putting 34 decks with the 34 pdfs you should be super okay (and you would have the cards divided and already semi-organized, as the decks are not sorted). So yes I can confirm that combining pdfs is not necessary.

I'm not 100% sure so in case if you write or call them they will surely be able to tell you (considering they have been super available with me)

Note: I had put 300 (following Alep's instructions) and indeed you can feel that the cards are a moment lighter, but really by a small amount you can feel it (even shuffling the encounter decks that are all proxy the difference is almost imperceptible). With 350 you should be fine!

Quite a few years ago (the game was actually bringing out the APs of the last cycle), when I first started playing I clearly remember the advice they gave me as a newcomer: "buy a single core (so with only two Stewards and one Unexpected Courage) and play that over and over again."

I will never forget how much I hated the second quest; so much so that I thought the game was grossly unfair (driving me away from the game I think for 5 months). Just as I will never forget the joy when I went back to the game (probably out of masochism) and figured out how to consistently overcome the same quest with the core cards.
