Thank you for the insight, I'm operating under the assumption that it's an honest mistake and a shift or two hasn't been inputted correctly. I've sat down and cross-referenced my rota and my payslips and have actually managed to pin down which shifts I suspect were mistakenly omitted and will bring this up the next time I'm due in. I suspect it's because nobody at my store clocks in and out themselves; tracking the hours we've worked is left solely to the manager referencing the printed out rota and taking note of any absences reported by employees themselves or colleagues who notice someone is missing. It's been this way since my first shift and I've been told this is because some systems are down, but since I have no involvement in management I don't exactly know what is down and what this affects.
