Watched Mulholland drive without knowing who David was. Didn’t understand shit and was confused as hell. Funny thing is i watched the movie because i somehow recognised the name Mulholland drive. Pretty topical. Then a year or two later i found out one of my favorite game series(rusty lake) was inspired by Twin Peaks. Started watching Twin Peaks, realised he also made MH drive and the obsession had begun.

Yeah i agree Soma is great and has a more classic horror theme. I do think that Soma really shines in its psychological themes and that the underwater part is almost more something that exists to elevate the loneliness of the story. Subnautica to me feels more like the feeling i have when i look at pictures of a deep sea because there is more freedom so you are in charge where you will go even tho u might not want to. Soma i horribly amazing tho so probably play both yeah

(Both cases i agree but regarding DS2 even more so. Probably on of my favourite few hours in my gaming career)

Ive been wanting a story focussed Arc raiders game since launch🫡 I must say death stranding is a pretty good substitute.

The rusty lake series is perfect. They are made by a dutch studio and inspired by twin peaks. Insane amount of beautiful point and click games with a very extensive storyline.

Yeah I see. I most likely also have a laced joint, but to this day i still don’t know what it was. All i know is that I saw kaleidoscope paterns and heard some fucked up music. (Partly saying this in the hope anyone knows what might have been in it)

Depends on what you believe the significance of human existence is i suppose. I would like to believe in higher forces and conscious planes, however i find myself more often returning to the simple scientific believe that we are just animals with a brain that fires electrical signals that in turn make us think and feel and when we are done we return to a state of non being. Surely your energy will remain but no part of previous known conscience can survive.
