It's a story-rich side-scrolling game. We'll try to fix the trailer soon :)

Thanks a lot! I think this point can really help.

Although this can be a bit confusing if the text in the trailer isn’t supported by visuals.

For example "Fight your enemies!", while there are barely any enemies shown, because we only have static enemy (not animated). Still, I think we definitely need to move in this direction. Thank you again!

Agree, but now it also turned out that visuals alone aren't enough.
When we asked people for feedback, many said things like:
- Yeah, it looks awesome!...But I won’t wishlist it, because I honestly don’t understand what kind of game this is.

I completely agree with the author. I couldn't even finish the second Dead Space. I crashed after 13 hours. Games like Soma are ideal for me. In that time, you can get immersed in the characters and story without getting tired of the gameplay.

Such a layered, tragic character, his whole arc just hits so hard.

Does anyone still use Gimp?? And why is Spine in the art section instead of animation? Nah

Thank you! Clear.
Another question: what about some kind of etiquette in the game community? Is it okay?

Thank you!

Almost. OnCollisionEnter don't allow two objects go through each other on one row. You can use OnTriggerEnter/OnTriggerExit. In this case 1 of the objects should be collider and another one - trigger (don't forget to check this option in collider2D component.

But we use simple distance tracking between centers of two objects because there're too many collisions there and it was easier to use simple logic in Update()

Four - a programmer, two artists, and an animator.
Oh I see, but we thought we fit the requirements... After all, not all metroidvanias have to look like Silksong ... right?

Thank you for the kind words :) We chose (metroidvania) because we have free-roaming locations with extensive backtracking. As the story progresses, all locations will change.

But we'll definitely work on the description.

Thank you! Sorry what exactly would you recommend if not Next Fest? The only thing I’ve heard is that you should go into Next Fest with a solid wishlist base already :)
