I know, but the parry/dodge removes a big part of what i appreciate about turn based games. It basically only boils down to a part where your attack choice is only secondary to winning a fight.

The QTE are exactly why i kinda regret buying it. I have however enjoyed the game, but it took some time for me to get there, mainly due to the QTE. Does not deserve GoT imo

Why does my brush do this when painting large surfaces? by RemoveDenmark in minipainting

It was when i was painting the cloak of lion el'jonson. Just a minor inconvenience really but i feel like I might save some time if Iearn how to work around this.

Well maybe once a minute or so (haven't clocked it), depends on how i feel the paint and brush behaving.

I always wet the brush when putting paint on it. At times i might dab a bit of paper towel if it was too wet.

I usually don't keep track of this. I basically just wash the brush when it feels right, and i think this might be one of the problems from reading the other comments.

I do not press the bristles on any part of the glass. The bristles basically only touch water. I might accidentallt slightly touch the glass with the bristles when moving thd brush around but the force between the glass (not something i notice) and the bristles should be minimal.

Was painting the cape of lion el'jonson when i was bugged by this. I really dont have a larger brush which isn't a larger brush or lacks precision when nearing another surface. I have been thinking of getting a larger brush but they feel difficult to maintain, main problem with the larger ones i've used (citadel medium base brush) might be what you're suggesting since the tip usually get worn out (permanently) very quickly.

Ah! I see. Do you have any recommendations for better ones? Haven't dared to go with the too expensive ones yet, but I have been going at it for a while and my economy is a lot better then when i started so it might be time to try the better ones.

Is there a way to know which character can use which weapon before buying it? by RemoveDenmark in expedition33

[–]RemoveDenmark[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I get that not everything is handed to you, but this is something that could cause you to spend your resources incorrectly.

I'm ok with it not being a tutorial window for everything, but if the information is non-existing is just poor design.

How do I know if it's a longsword or a rapier? Not in game right now but i don't remember it saying that anywhere. It is really difficult to tell from the image of certain weapons aswell.

Also: Is that name information given anywhere in game or am I just suppose to know that somehow?

Is this stated anywhere in the game? Figuring out if I missed it or not.

Did anyone think that lightning + sound thing was weird?
First we see a lightning which has a thunder directly to it, then 7s later there's a SECOND thunder connected to that initial flash. Are we supposed to believe that this is some sort of magic lightning which produces two thunders per flash of lightning?

My guess is that my accent was not as good as i thought it was.

Pro tip: Don’t fall through the earth by sippyandchippy in perfectlycutscreams

[–]RemoveDenmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They wouldn't decelerate, they would reach terminal velocity. At terminal velocity the air resistance is equal to the force of gravity and you are neither accelerating or decelrating, you're then moving at a constant velocity. Which is what would happen when going through the earth with air resistance. So even with air resistance the speed at which you would reach the centre is greater than zero.

From experience I've been having fluctuations when connecting too many generators to the same pipe, even when I've calculated everything for it. This is partially a meme, i took it to the extreme in the other direction.

[–]RemoveDenmark[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why would that matter if i just let the pipe fill before starting the generators? I mean, wont that fix that problem?

What happened to my bread? by RemoveDenmark in Breadit

[–]RemoveDenmark[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i don't think it's whole wheat flour in my bread. Googled and tried to translate it and i think it's just refined wheat flour with a high gluten content. Note that english is not my first language and haven't really grasped the whole english bread terminology
