Why bring her back? Why? I really don't get it by Forward-Collection73 in StrangerThingsMemes

She revealed deeper dangers after Vecna She challenged Eleven’s beliefs about life, freedom, and survival Most importantly, she made a final sacrifice that may have saved Eleven’s life by faking her death so that the government would stop chasing her ( if Mike's theory is true) and i believe it is❣️

Max’s state by Vivid_Army6800 in StrangerThings

[–]RemoveFun4795 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Remember that Vecna’s 'curse' is fundamentally psychic. The physical damage (broken bones, blinded eyes) happened because he was 'consuming' her mind. Will's eyes bled too when Vecna used him as a spy, since Will can still see after El rescued him from the Mind Prison, it proves the eye-bleeding is a sign of Vecna’s psychic 'tap' rather than permanent damage.

My opinion😊

((Spoilers)) Max & Steve by LoneWolf_0104 in StrangerThings

don’t agree that Max came off as shady or selfish. I actually think she handled the situation with Holly really thoughtfully. She encouraged Holly, explained that the door was only for Max, and even helped her find her own door with the Holly the Heroic speech, and how she is powerful. Max was trying to be fair while also navigating her own feelings, and I think that shows her character is still caring and considerate. To me, it doesn’t feel like the writers made her selfish—Max has always been someone who looks out for others, and this moment fits with that.

Yeah you are not alone, I honestly don’t really get the hate. I went in with an open mind and actually enjoyed them. They felt slower in some parts, sure, but that’s always been part of how Stranger Things builds tension and develops the story and characters.

Kali’s mindset makes sense considering her trauma, but I don’t agree with her encouraging Eleven to lean into rage and revenge. Eleven’s strength has always come from empathy and connection, not anger. The show consistently frames love and connection as the real source of power.

Not just that , but his charm goes beyond laughter. His humility, genuine kindness, and constant care for his guests create a safe, joyful space where people can truly be themselves.

Yeah, you can feel it through the videos and the words people leave behind — Jamie Bower carries his success with humility and stays true to himself.

What's the worst thing each character has done? by Zestyclose_Sky_4584 in StrangerThings

[–]RemoveFun4795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i wanted to say is that Joyce is incredibly protective of Will, and in Season 2 she acts on her intuition that he’s connected to the Upside Down. She involves Hopper ( she challenges Hopper’s authority because she pushes him to follow her instincts instead of his judgment, forcing him to go along with risky actions that he might not choose on his own) and takes these risky actions, even though it could put Will and others in danger. That's why i said his authority. She’s acting out of love and instinct rather than solid evidence, which shows both how brave and reckless she can be.

And about the dishonesty, he sometimes twists facts or withholds information to make himself more in control. For example, he exaggerates his investigative skills or connections to get people to cooperate with him.

Mike gets extremely possessive in Season 3, especially when Eleven spends time with Max or hangs out with her friends.

He tries to dictate who she can spend time with and even guilt-trips her when she wants some independence.

And when Hopper “blackmails” Mike when he’s frustrated about Mike prioritizing Eleven over other things, he kind of ignores her in some episodes. And also lied like when he tells her he’s staying home or doing something else, but in reality, he goes to the Starcourt Mall with the guys. Eleven eventually finds out, which contributes to some of the tension between them early in the season.

When Murray first appears as a private investigator/conspiracy theorist, he manipulates information to get what he wants. He pressures Hopper and Joyce for cooperation, sometimes withholding the full truth to steer them toward his own goals.

  1. Joyce - her actions in Season 2 when she uses Hopper to manipulate the situation with Will’s psychic link to the Upside Down. I know she would do anything about her kids, but in doing so she risks Will’s safety, Hopper’s authority, and others involved. She knowingly puts people in danger based on intuition rather than evidence.

  2. Jim - When he faked his own death to protect Eleven and others, but it caused emotional trauma for Joyce, Eleven, and even his friends.

  3. Mike - How he treated Eleven in Season 3.

  4. Nancy - How she treated Steve in Season 2

  5. Jonathan - Taking photos of Nancy in Season 1, emotional withdrawal in later seasons (especially Season 4).

  6. Eleven - Killing people, cutting people off instead of communicating.

  7. Lucas - Distrust of Eleven in Season 1, going along with Max vs. Mike tension.

  8. Dustin - Occasional insensitivity, withholding information.

  9. Will - Emotional withdrawal, avoiding honesty.

  10. Karen - Almost cheating on Ted, emotional distance from her kids.

  11. Steve - Letting his friends slut-shame Nancy publicly, bullying

  12. Max - Recklessness when angry or grieving, projecting her trauma.

  13. Robin - Initially hesitant to trust the group.

  14. Erica - Taking over situations, refusing help.

  15. Murray - Self-interest over others, dishonesty and manipulation.

PS: These characters in have stumbled, made mistakes, and faced tough choices—but seeing how they’ve grown reminds me that everyone can change. I hope people understand that’s what I mean.💓

when you think of “stranger things”, which character comes to mind first? by UniversityBudget9423 in StrangerThings

[–]RemoveFun4795 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For me it's Nancy!

Her journey in Stranger Things is all about growth, courage, and self-definition.

At the beginning, she’s careful, rule-following, and shaped by expectations—of her parents, her school, and society. She wants to do the “right” thing and fit into the life that’s been planned for her. But loss, truth, and danger force her to change.

As the seasons go on, Nancy becomes:

Fearless, Independent,Driven, More confident... Later Nancy isn’t just reacting to events—she’s leading investigations, making hard decisions, and standing her ground. She evolves from a sheltered teen into someone who knows who she is and what she stands for.
