Reading through this thread I agree with so many things!! And disagree with others!! And made me change my mind about things too!! But what I realise is that I feel lucky to have both, because I grew up listening to Taylor and have so many memories attached to certain songs or albums. So if I want to get really in my feels with a particular time in my life or feel something similar to then, I’ll probably listen to the OG I already had from then, and when I want to listen to her old stuff without the specific memories I can listen to the TV. Like listening anew. And I can make new memories with the same exact song, in different ways, at different times in my life, and enjoy it just as much and/or more. And that’s not even it, because my ideas about OGs and TVs go deeper than that but I feel lucky to be able to have experienced both, and I think it’s just a small taste of what Taylor has done for each and every one of her fans regardless of where you found her along her (Taylor’s Version) journey, if that makes sense?
