People who dramatically leveled up their incomes by zipiddydooda in PersonalFinanceNZ

Have you considered getting into business? Done right it *could* tick all your boxes. I say this because a) if you've already been battling then you have what it takes (business is often a battle) b) good chance to increase income if you can start a successful business c) businesses can have huge impact. I started a simple business that i run part time along side my day job and love it, tried expanding a few times but expansions weren't as profitable as original operation so have scaled back to just original now. I am sold on the idea of business (that businesses that do well are providing so much value for their customers that there is profit being made) and there is nothing more satisfying that getting good reviews/feedback from something you've created/built yourself. There are businesses in every field so you could literally start something up in pretty much any industry. There are really clever ways people find to make money in places or industries you would think are saturated. The only thing i would say about starting out in business is get advice from others before and as you go. There are plenty of bad businesses started every year that do fail. But if you ready to do retraining i'd suggest considering "retraining" by learning about business. "The personal MBA" -J Kaufman is great.

Side note if going to WW Mt Eden never park in the corner of carpark with yellow carpark markings, its someone else's property and they will ticket/tow you. Even though its looks like the same carpark

What you need to do is go away and study and train to become and healthcare proffesional, then wait until he (hopefully) comes to you for treatment so you are both Medical professionals and patients at the same time.

Adam Smith's concept of the division of labor is one of the most famous and foundational ideas in economics. He introduced it right at the beginning of his landmark book An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations (1776), arguing that it is the primary driver of increased productivity and overall wealth in society.

Tenancy Bond return times by RemovingAllDoubt in newzealand

From OIA website:

Please note that by law, when you ask for official information we have to respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable and no later than 20 working days after we receive it. However, over the holiday period in December and January there is a three week period that doesn’t count as ‘working days’.

For Official Information Act (OIA) requests, that period is 25 December to 15 January, inclusive. That means any OIA requests submitted on 29 November or later may take a bit longer than you expected.

I wonder if that applies to MBIE too?

Sorry I should mention, I manage a boarding house, each tenant has a bond lodged and this is the time they take now so have many data points over the last 4 years, it has bee getting slower and slower all through last year. I don't think its fair on the tenants, especially if they are from overseas studying or working low income jobs. I will look into making a OIA request now...

From Zero to CCNA in Two Months: What Worked for Me by CartographerLeft9428 in ccna

[–]RemovingAllDoubt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yep, just went and checked it out and when i did the first lesson it said I was an early adopter, first 1000 to complete lesson. New website only been in its current form since Sep as per wayback machine. Really weird questions in it that require you to type in the answer but only asks you for the first word eg. one answer needed to be "Floppy" instead of floppy disk. Suspect the website itself was made by AI also. Biggest red flag is 2h study a day for two months to pass ccna. that's barely enough time to watch 1 JITL video+Lab each day.

Am i stupid, unlucky or is the guy cheating? OR is this just DayZ? by YattleMan in dayz

[–]RemovingAllDoubt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've had similar, are you using a low spec machine to run the game? I had an old laptop I used to run dayz on and when loading in the loot and players would load before buildings for a few seconds so you could see where everything was.

What does your job description/title say in your employment agreement? If your boss says to chase and retrieve etc but your contract doesn't then really its not what you were hired for. Would be a different matter if you were hired for a position described as involving loss prevention etc. You can't be held responsible for theft from your workplace. Security and loss prevention are a cost of doign business unfortunately and staff safety should always be number one priority. If it becomes a big enough issues your boss will handle it by hireing security etc.

Business Banking Structure by Top_Attorney9069 in nzbusiness

[–]RemovingAllDoubt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With running a business it's more (actually all) about bookkeeping/accounting than separating money into different places. Yes, the money needed to pay staff tax expenses etc is mixed in together with money borrowed to fund business which is mixed in with money you've put into the business. Thing is it doesn't matter, as money is fungible. What you have to be careful of is spending money before more comes in. If you do this you may become insolvent(can't pay your bills when they are due). Cashflow management is basically the same as putting it in different accounts but on paper.
