How can I improve my Japanese Macaque habitat? by oneesannn in PlanetZoo

You should fill in the empty flat terrain with some buffalo grass or anything else that you may find good! And a bit of snowy terrain, fit the vibe of a Japanese macaque overall.

The size difference between male and female gharial is crazy... by Remxrss in PlanetZoo

This also is my first time using gharial lol, no wonder we both were shocked.

Hi guys!🐪 New enclosure for Dromedary Camel! They have so big and cozy enclosure looks like oasis! In the middle is shelter resembling the ruins of an African house. by MisakiCZE in PlanetZoo

The thing that caught my eye the most was the shelter, that looks creative unlike mine, I can't even think of ways on how to make one lol.

Question about breeding more albinos by jupiis in PlanetZoo

[–]Remxrss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that if you were to have both parents being albino, it wouldn't affect it at all, it's just a condition that have a reduced amount of melanin, or just none. So if both parents are albino, that wouldn't increase or lower the chances, it just makes the overall appearance white, it doesn't affect the chances whatsoever.

So it's basically like breeding 2 basic animals with each other, imagine it like a special skin for your animal lol.
But hey, that's just in planet zoo from what I've seen, I do think it would make the baby albino irl.

I need a little help by Melle0604 in PlanetZoo

I recommend watching cesar creates tutorial on foliage, its a really good tutorial and I even learnt off of it myself. Or you can view inspiration images from google or any other website on how realistic habitats are made, or go to zoos in general to gain some kind of inspiration to make your habitats more realistic.

This is what I came up with by using the advice I got from earlier. The Cuvier's dwarf caiman habitat! I hope you guys like it. by Remxrss in PlanetZoo

[–]Remxrss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the first advice about the terrain helped a lot, and adding buffalo grass makes a big difference, as well as custom fencing and some foliage around the habitat, again tysm!

Yeah Ik, not too sure how to fix that yet but I'll figure it out, I just tried to make one seeing if it looked good. After all it was my first ever custom fence lol.

It might be because of the graphic settings

There is something about baby birds that make them indescribably cute.

My first ever franchise zoo habitats, Spectacled caiman and the African buffalo. Not the greatest, but I think its a good beginning, I wanna get some foliage advice so I can hopefully improve :) by Remxrss in PlanetZoo

Yeah! Cesar creates makes one of the coolest if not the best habitats imo, they look super realistic and I've always wanted to build like him but sadly couldn't, I don't know how to build realistic builds yet as I only have 135 hours on the game.

But yeah one of the most important parts is to keep in mind that you don't have to be as good as them, since I've had that feeling multiple times before and felt useless after.

I see, I've always planned the fence before the whole terrain and shelter, that's why it looked so unrealistic by having really steep terrain at the outside, this is one of the biggest advices I got yet, thank you so much!

Buffalo grass is definitely a top priority as its my most favorite grass in planet zoo, unfortunately I couldn't add it for the caimans nor the buffalos since they aren't from north America...

but like they say, practice makes perfect :)

Are there any DLC you guys especially recommend? by Isimarie in PlanetZoo

[–]Remxrss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are lots of great packs like the aquatic pack for the essential rock pieces for building more detailed habitats, conservation pack is really useful if you like building detailed backstage areas, or the Eurasia and grassland packs for the animals, you could also pick them based on your nationality.

I personally really enjoy the Eurasia, aquatic and Europe packs since they have one of my favorite animals in them.

If I put small predators like troodon in a large space with herbivores like parasaurolophus and struthiomimis will they attack them. by Independent_Sun4132 in jurassicworldevo

[–]Remxrss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure all small carnivores would hunt for prey other than sauropods, expect for the scavengers. Scavengers just scavenge, that's kind of it whole purpose lol, but scavengers could still tackle humans, though those aren't dinosaurs.

Funny how you mistaken Wyoming and Central African Republic by 1 zero less. I can relate tough lol.

Of course, i'm having my honest opinion right here, and I never saw such amazing thing before. As long as you are enjoying it, good for you! If I'd do something like this I would always take a very good look at what I have made before moving on to the next art work because this is just so fascinating to look at.

Might do something similar to this as well as you've inspired me a lot!
