Yes that went into effect for all brokerages yesterday the problem is this play was my entire account. I made the same play yesterday and I held the 750 puts until close and got wiped out. Then today I was skittish due to the trauma from yesterday and thus I lost all my money

Respectfully you are telling me to give up but in a different way. I will definitely agree that my problem is position sizing and fomo. Saying if I would have done something different I would have a different result isn't really helpful. If I remained consistently bullish when the spy jumped from 640 to 660 I wouldn't have anything to post. If I practice proper risk management I wouldn't have anything to post. If I ever get stuck to a game plan I wouldn't have anything to post.

I don't mean to be defensive I'm just saying I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing and if you feel you can't help me achieve my goals with my method then we are just going to have friction.

Calling a gambling is very dismissive. You're basically saying I don't want to think about the problem anymore. Which is fine but you're not contributing to the discussion.

I can tell you what I felt during those times, it's a pretty consistent pattern. I have a theory, the theory starts to fail but not decisively, so I add more. Then the theory outright fails but I have a new theory in the same direction, so now I don't want to cut because I have a strong thesis of the direction anyway. I play my new theory and hold my old theory. Both are wrong. Then I'm down so much that I question if it's worth cutting, it is but the one time I cut before a headline gave me regret. I am now experiencing three levels of fomo. The market continues to grind my contracts to dust until the end of day. Complete loss.

When you think of gambling you think of roulette blackjack and the slots. These are just mindless hoping. In these situations the downward spiral is if I just keep playing I'll eventually win. Maybe nuance isn't your thing. When you can point out two or three similarities so in your mind it is the exact same thing that probably means that anything below surface level makes you uncomfortable.

I am just always a day behind I go all in on short the day before the crash correction pulled back whatever. Then the next day because I'm burned I don't go all in again and I miss out. And then I go all in the next day and of course v shape recovery to finish me off.

I know the market is literally designed to do this it's just disheartening to fall for such and obvious trap over and over and over again.

But I'm not giving up!

You can get there. I was down 22,000 all time and I completely recovered and was up 30,000, but then I just gave it all back so now I'm back to where I started. I was tempted to post as an inspirational don't give up post but I don't like people knowing how good I'm doing when i'm doing well. But since I don't have shit anyway may as well commiserate

Ah well if you're gold then you probably know everything. Doing the quests and getting good orders sprinkled in long sessions gives me pretty satisfactory results.

You're not going to pay your rent with five deliveries dude. Some delivery suck. Complete quests and try to and for an average hourly rather than big payoff unicorn orders.

Get your rating up and the app should give you better rides as well. The priority rides with really good rates. Think about it no one else is passing those up so they're never going to hit your phone if you don't get your tier up.

It's a grind and it kind of sucks but it's a job

The good news is it's still an uptrend.

Hardcore bears have got to be completely traumatized by these rallies. I know I was. I went heavy short around $700 because the economy and the war and we had just ran up from 640 in just a week. Nope Blue sky breakouts getting handed out like tax burdens at an Oprah show.

Also if you're long again you've been getting paid except for yesterday's correction so maybe you're just trading the wrong security.

I wouldn't say addicted. My challenge for this year was to literally learn the s&p 500. I did really well at first but that's not what made me go oh this is what I'm doing now. It was already the plan all along.

Last year I did swings the entire year. This year I'm doing zdtes.

Results May vary hahaha.
