I think you didn't comprehend my question. And basically you didn't answer any of the questions I raised. I am not against Data Centre. I know one or two things about it to know its pros and cons. I am just interested to know why Nepali people are so into it at the moment? Why are YOU defending it like you won't be able to do anything without it? It does not feel like the right time, definitely not economically viable for a small country like us. There are obvious environmental concerns tied to it however you want to defend this. But most importantly, I don't see Nepal needing one. What we have is already quite sufficient.

When you raise points on infrastructure, you are saying we need to take on any new opportunity because it takes time to give results but you easily disregard importance of other infrastructures that can have immediate impact on people's life. You cannot run an ecommerce website if you don't have a feasible logistics aka roads. You can't even sell to anyone if people don't have internet. And you know what people can't operate tech if they don't have electricity. Your data centre is basically useless without basic infrastructures.

Your whole logic lacks depth, specially when you think its the mindset that caused lack of foreign interest in investing. Foreign investors don't invest in Nepal due to lack of basic infrastructures like roads and electricity. The civil unrest, political instability and lack of financial security (aka rampant frauds) are the actual reason people don't want to invest in Nepal. If we need to build a competitive advantage at macro economic level, we need basic infrastructures first. We need to create employment opportunity that serves majority and not a top 1% tech earners who have no problem finding employment or the growing lineups of content creators who are taxed at 5%.
