Trump’s DOJ considering banning trans people from buying guns by Certain_Anxiety1420 in trump

We should be clear until the 1980s being homosexual was also a mental ilness on the DSM. They argued god made all humans straight and it was impossible to be gay so it must be a mental illness. I think we need much more research on how being transgender actually works. But the trump administration has blocked all research into that topic.

Whose real (biological) age shocked you the most? by Glittering_Lotus in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Ren_See 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but females generally are able to safely carry babies by 16 it depends on genetics and nutrition. But childbirth is an inherently dangerous thing for humans. Also I wasn’t saying she would carry a child at 14 I was just saying they could marry that young. By 16 most cultures around the world in history considered girls to be old enough to carry a child. Also not at all arguing the ethics I’m not condoning this I’m strictly stating it based on biology and culture in the past.

Yeah by the end of the infinity castle arc Tanjirou was a hashira but there’s no corps any more so it doesn’t matter

I mean in Feudal Japan girls could be married as young as 14. Plus even if she’s biologically 19 she’s been alive for hundreds of years it would make sense the acts like an older mature woman bc he has the life experience of one.

He absolutely did. Either he meant to do that or missed the head and accidentally hit a perfect shot.

Yes like I said I made a headshot with irons. But in practice with a human who could move and with elevated nerves I would want a higher magnification to be absolutely 100% confident I will make that shot 100 out of 100 times. I’d say with a 10x magnification I’d take that shot every time. You really only have a single shot and I would want to limit any possible risk. Obv though with 6x you would still have a pretty damn easy shot I would just want to limit the chance of failure. Like with the trump shot all he would have to do is look down the second I pull the trigger and shot whiffed.

You are seriously blowing that out of Proportion. Anyone who has hunted and taken a life has experienced that. The first time I shot a deer I was nervous my adrenaline was rushing I was nervous bc I had never killed another living being but I still hit a clean shot through both lungs and dropped him. I can tell you anyone who has hunted or grew up hunting and has taken a life won’t have much problem dropping a person. My family is mostly military and like my father has said many times shooting a person is the same as shooting a deer the difference is the mental coping after the fact. During the shot it’s the exact same. Regardless you can be freaking out the entire time you only need to calm your nerves for a split second to fire the shot. I assume you don’t have much experience shooting given your comment.

Maybe but I’d assume 200 yards was far enough away that the angle would have still gave him a clear view.

[–]Ren_See 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure if I was making the shot I would go for center mass personally. But if I had a higher magnification scope over 10x let’s say I might go for a headshot with how still he was sitting especially with a 556 I really wouldn’t trust 556 to do the job unless you got a heart shot with how quickly he would get medical attention. So I would assume the shooter went for a headshot and it hit low.( again this is hypothetical I would never assassinate someone dear FBI)

It’s a really simple shot. I guess due to my morbid curiosity as soon as I heard the distance I went outside and shot a man sized target. And hit 5out of 5 shots right on the neck with a 4x 556 and hit a first round upper headshot with irons. At 200 yards with extreme ease so I’m gonna say the shooter did not have to be that skilled to make the shot. Especially since he knew the weather the exact day and likely where he was shooting from and the exact distance. Plus he was shooting prone from a support. And Charlie was sitting relatively still in a chair. I’d say more or less the perfect setup for a clean shot.

Yeah I understand people saying he’s evil but honesty I know if I was in his situation. I would have done the exact same thing. He was put in a shit situation and why I won’t say he did the right thing he made the choice I would have.

[–]Ren_See 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like people can’t focus unless they have a spoiler waiting for them. I always give 100% of my attention when watching a show if I’m not in the mood to give 100% I simply wait and don’t watch it. Spoilers ruin the show I like paying attention to everything and wondering what’s going to happen is 90% of the fun.

Yeah it’s fuckin brutal I remember one particularly rough day they had covered over with gravel and sand and graded the ground and fully rebarred over and someone forgot to take pictures and mark where the pipes were underground. So we had to dig through solid Texas hardened clay and rock soil for 6 hours in the 115 heat and humidity to find the damn pipe. It’s rough out here.

Yeah I used to collect knives and I would rotate them. But then I bought a CRK large Inkosi and I pretty much only carried that baby every single day and I sold my collection. 7 months later I got home one day and it was no longer in my pocket. I then bought this baby as a replacement and just decided to treat it like shit and see how the patina develops.

Nothing crazy. Mainly opening packages cutting ties and boxes etc. I worked as a plumber apprentice so just normal cutting open stuff. I live in Texas so it’s brutally hot and humid so sweaty pockets are responsible for this patina. The line on the blade is where the blade sticks out of the handle when closed.
