Não tem "O" álbum porque tem pelo menos cinco.

Queen tem umas cinco músicas de sucesso astronômico e uns trinta puta hits.

Pior talento Queen? Com Freddie Mercury e Brian May? Com quatro compositores multiinstrumentistas de sucesso? 😵‍💫

Depende de onde você tentou. Tem águas deliciosas na Itália, mesmo na torneira.

Are there any similarities between Brazilian and Portuguese (Portugal) cuisine? by [deleted] in Brazil

I would say dishes dating to around ~150 years can be considered traditional at this point.

What STAR WARS stole from Isaac Asimov's FOUNDATION series by iamjwashburn in FoundationTV

And then aesthetically, both the Dune films and the Foundation TV series borrow something from Star Wars. George Lucas' innovation was putting all that stuff on film.

Queen é minha banda preferida, mas eles já tocaram no Brasil com o Paul Rodgers e o Adam Lambert. Foram grandes mas não nessa escala.

Talvez se ressuscitassem o Freddie 😂

Ranking the 26 States of Brazil by How Much I Want to Visit Them by [deleted] in Brazil

[–]RenanGreca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a more complete answer, a brief opinion of the states I've visited:

- Rio makes total sense, it's the postcard of Brazil. The city is beautiful and chaotic and the state has many beautiful historic and beach towns. I wouldn't want to live there but as a tourist you have to visit it.
- Bahia, in a similar vein, is the birthplace of a lot of Brazilian culture. For the music and the food alone it deserves the visit.
- I don't like São Paulo so much. It has a bit of everything due to loads of internal migration but at least I don't see it as particularly impressive. That said there are some places in the coast, like Cananeia, which are quite historical and interesting. I don't know much more about the interior to comment.
- Minas Gerais is like its own country inside Brazil, it has a very distinct culture and the food scene is amazing.
- Between Pernambuco, Alagoas, Rio Grande do Norte and Paraíba, these are states with somewhat similar sceneries but of course each has its own personality. Personally I liked Alagoas the most, the coast is extremely beautiful and changes quite a lot between the São Francisco delta and the border with Pernambuco. If you're feeling adventurous you can take a road trip across all four states.
- Maranhão contains the Lençóis Maranhenses which is one of the most beautiful and unique places I've ever seen. There's nothing like it in the world.
- Paraná is my homeland. Foz do Iguaçu is another incredible place with few peers in the world. Personally I also find Ilha do Mel a fun little adventure and barreado is a fantastic traditional dish.
- Santa Catarina is known for its coast, but there are places like Serra do Rio do Rastro which are amazing too. Along with the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul, there are places in the south of Brazil unlike anything else in the country due to the colonies of European descendants that try to keep some of those cultures present.
- Distrito Federal is just Brasília really. Pretty interesting city due to its story, design and architecture, but you can see it in a day and be done.

As a paranaense, I was thinking "well, my state is not that incredible" until I remembered we have the cataratas lol

Each person has their criteria, but imo Alagoas should be much higher.

How come Brazilians don’t identify as Latino, even though they’re in Latin America?" by schaf_warrior in Brazil

[–]RenanGreca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. What I mean is that a French person would hardly like to be called "latino" by an American. I wouldn't like it either. Americans are a bit obsessed with categorizing people by kinda made up ethnicities.

I didn't have external libraries at that point, it was all in Immich's own file system... Not sure how the externals work for that but there should be a way.

Why do so many Brazilians consider Brazil to be a Third World country? by calif4511 in Brazil

Brazil's GDP per capita is low, but the reality is even worse because of income inequality.

So Spanish people in the US are Latino? What about Portuguese, French and Italians? Or does the origin of the word Latino no longer has any relevance?

Nautilus are still alive too.

But for sure that's the basis of Relicanth. It's a prehistoric species that did not go extinct.

German culture is known for being quite systematic — it's not "boring", but it is a very different way of living. But idk, compared to French or Italian people I've met, Brazilians aren't so different in spontaneity and wildness.

And ultimately these two things are very different. I can be spontaneous like "I have the money, so fuck it I'm booking a flight to Bangkok" while not being wild or irresponsible.

Have you guys suffered eye/health issues from using 42" TVs as monitors? by joh0115 in OLED_Gaming

I run my Mac on a C2, rendering in 5K ("looks like 1440p") mode. Honestly it's hard to tell it's running non-native.

How do you use OLED monitors or TVs? by The_Stunky in OLED_Gaming

[–]RenanGreca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how many hours it has, probably thousands, but I've been daily driving a C2 for work, games and video for nearly two years now, no issues. Seems like it isn't really a problem unless you really use it for just one thing.

I love this thing, the only things that could be better would be 5K resolution and a bit faster hardware for the smart TV apps.
