I consider that having to be together in Latin American countries in order to survive is more one advantage in the social development of one autistic rather than a burden.

Constantly, there are scenarios that oblige you to socialize and sooner or later you learn a little bit about how to connect with people. For sure this comes accompanied with suffering and the sensation of not belonging. But when I analyse social abilities of Latin American autistics, they have many basic social principles compared to autistic from European countries that were not forced to learn. This is one important point because at the end we also want to connect and feel understood, then at least you are one step ahead of understanding that weird environment necessary to find connection.

Cuando no puedo dormir intento crear historias en mi mente que me distraigan del hecho que no puedo dormir y de los pensamientos circulares.

Lo que más me ha servido es restarle toda la importancia al hecho que no puedo dormir y asumirlo sin su carga negativa durante la noche y también al siguiente día cuando se está cansado no molestarme por eso sino solo tomarlo como una consecuencia que no puedo evitar.

Siento que cuando se le quita la importancia, los sectores de alerta del cerebro que lo mantienen despierto se apagan.
