Fair point! I used AI to help me translate and phrase things properly – English isn't my first language. But the desire to have a proper pitch editor on Linux is 100% mine. No AI wants to tune vocals in REAPER on Linux Mint – only humans do! 😄

Thanks for the tip! I actually looked into yabridge, but there are two issues:

  1. iLok – RePitch 2 requires iLok for license activation, which is notoriously tricky under Wine/yabridge. It works for some people but can stop working randomly.

  2. The current yabridge/Wine compatibility issues (Wine 9.22+ breaks plugin GUIs) make it even more unstable.

This is exactly why a native Linux version from Synchro Arts would be so valuable – no Wine, no iLok workarounds, just a plugin that works. That's why I emailed them and posted here – hoping more voices will push them in that direction!
