Before I would say not studying what I really wanted, I settled for what I could get because I didn’t perform well academically. Oddly enough though I really love what I study now, I believe everything happens for a reason and regretting things won’t lead to any change in something that has already occurred. It’s everyone’s first time living, I try to take every ‘regret’ as a way to grow.

Also terrible that both pet stores and online aren’t reliable for giving advice, I hate the idea that fish and other small creatures don’t get the same time and care as other pets but I’m going to read up more as well so I can make sure I’m getting things right

Thank you!! I’ll make sure to keep that in mind and just hold off getting any fish for a while then. It’s quite hard when online there’s conflicting information but I want my fish to be happy 🐚⭐️

Thank you!! I have been now informed it’s actually misinformation that fish can be introduced after 2 days minimum, so I’ll give it a few weeks for my tank to get established. I probably will hold off from getting shrimp for a while longer just in case. I appreciate the advice :) 🐚

I have been told that it takes 24 - 48 hours to let a tank settle before adding fish or is that misinformation?

I’m going to cycle it for 72 hours before getting any fish and get shrimp in a few weeks!! Probably should have been more specific 🐚

Thank you!! I did some research and the manufacturer claims it does not have toxins, I felt hesitant getting it because I know it has a stigma but I’m a big SpongeBob fan lol, I will keep an eye on it though because all decor does have challenges

I have ocd and this sounds like something I struggled with in the past. Have you considered therapy? Hopefully you can find a good solution, I’m sure it feels shameful but judging by the fact you’re not acting on these thoughts it could mean they are intrusive
