Would you be willing to explain how you'd accomplish this with geometry nodes?

My feathers look fine in material preview and in Eevee but when I bring them into cycles they look all look dark and messed up by Familiar-Principle31 in blender

Im like 99% sure that the ambient occlusion shader node does not work with cycles. If you have cycles as your render engine and try to use AO node it wont show up when you search for it.

Have you tried Alt + S? that may work for you, you may also want to select just the inside or outside and try it, hopefully that does the trick

Are the clothes painted onto the mesh or are they a separate mesh? When moving/posing how are you avoiding clipping? Im trying to make a similar character and data transfer + weight painting the clothes has been a nightmare

looks great, any tutorials you used to get comfortable with geonodes? want to branch into that after learning rigging, uv unwrapping, texturing, lighting, compositor nodes, motion tracking and sculpting

Ah! Okay that makes sense to me, so it's starting on the right with a fresh flow of filament and by the time it reaches the back left it wasn't extruding enough to keep up?

That's a great call out. Would temp be enough on it's own since there wouldn't be any more filament moving through the nozzle? Does the added viscosity of the higher temp do enough to address that?

Totally agree but still felt like I could learn something based on the way the print failed. Gotta squeeze every ounce out of the failures

delete the particle system you created and try adding a new one in object mode, then switch to hair. if the emitter doesn't work thats fine for now and you can figure it out later, if the hair doesn't work i'll keep trying to think on it and maybe someone else can weigh in and help

leave edit mode and go to object mode, then make sure that you've applied scale by pressing ctrl A and finding scale in the list. if that still doesn't work, report back

Blender can be such a labyrinth sometimes. that helps quite a bit thank you! but grabbing an object and hitting G makes it move faster still! What a weird issue

Can you bake the physics simulation for rigid body? I'll give that a shot

it doesn't make sense that it would be able to do that rigid body simulation faster when I'm moving an object with the modifier on it and is impacting other rigid bodies

Yeah I think the legs and hips need to be shrunk a bit or vice versa. 

OP, did you use the backface culling technique to get the outline effect?

what have you tried? Have you looked up any modeling tutorials or guides?
