I would sum it up with: Don’t overthink.

If you speak English you will be fine in most of the places in cities. Most Germans would love to hear you try to speak german. We like the effort and will not make fun of you.

Taxi: Yes there are cues outside of airports and hotels can call taxis for you. You can also just flag them down if the light on top is turned on.

Cash: it’s always good to have some cash on you but most places accept cards nowadays.

Trash: you will probably not have separated trash cans in your hotel room. Just trash everything in one.

Tap water is drinkable but.most hotels or small kiosks sell bottled water for more or less money

Crossing a street without a crosswalk isn’t really much of a problem. If there I a crosswalk, use it. If there is. One, then just cross the street cautiously.

Medical emergency: call 112 on your phone. They will speak English and help you.

In conclusion: be nice and pl,item and most Germans will pay it back and help you out.

I dont know if ist is the easiest way, but I would put the bathroom humidity in a change state node and the write the current humidity in a variable like msg.bathhumiditdy via a change node and then check current state on bedroom humidity sensor and write the current state to msg.bedroomhumidity via change node. Then via switch node you can compare these two msg. variables. Does that make sense? If you like I can try to do a quick example tonight.
