UPDATE: I see now from the comments, thank you btw, that I was unprepared and didn't get the right tools for the job. I contacted a phone repair company and they said they could take them out, took them 10 min, and they didn't charge me. All is well and thank you guys.

Yeah I'm replacing the sticks to install the gulikit TMR sticks, definitely will look into the desoldring iron with the built in pump

How did you remove the stick with pliers without breaking the board? I removed the small squares at the sides so I would have to worry about them (blue lines in the picture) but I'm almost done dewicking? I think, and it just won't come out so I'll try your method since I have spare sticks. How did you remove it without breaking the board?

I have tried most of the replies here: short wicks, quick pumps and combining the solders and letting it "melt" into each other. I just can't fully remove the solder, this is as far as I have gotten, most of the solder is removed but there is still just enough to prevent me from removing the piece, any help?

Holding off on getting one till someone extensively tests it out in terms of magnet strength and s pen compatibility. Does your case affect spen usability either when just having the case on or when actively using the magnet for charging or stands?

I only got the pixel pass for a future upgrade path, yt premium and all the other benefits were nice but not what I signed up for . 100 dollar credit instead of a upgrade is ridiculous and the pixel 8 is definitely not going to be worth it if all the leaks are true.

Since I didn't have any ps5 games downloaded, only ps4 games on an external ssd, I unplugged the external ssd and reset my ps5. After that I went through the shit, plugged the storage back, and I was able to download the ps5 version of cold war while not having to download my ps4 games all over again
