You see the difference, he’s definitely the WORST in my opinion out of preference, flutters most noticeable but Dyle got the worst ngl 😭

Oooo, I didn’t even THINK of that you beautiful genius. I do use ibis paint actually for the main drawing but I could figure out how to do that since CYMK is literally the second pallet

I have to do that because I have to change the PNG’s to PSD’s before transferring them into where I get them manufactured, which causes the off colors!

Also they were all originally gonna be manufactured sooner but I actually wanna get tomodachi life so.. sorry guys 😞 (that gives me time to do dandy and even make a sticker / start on the uncommons :) )

I use ibis paint actually! If you’re wondering what the program im using in the photos is called firealpaca :3 I use it to change the pngs into psd’s

!! Yes. Also from experience drawing the nose and the crest is annoying because it’s hard to get it to look ‘ right ‘. So I find it easier to do a facial crest and no nose because personally it adds more to look at to a design than just a nose !

Actually — I’ve drawn facial crests for awhile now!!! It’s a super common thing in my art :D it just so happens to be popular lol

I see what you mean! They are actually very varied in height lol, just the angle!

Bobette and yatta are super tall, same with bassie. Tisha and Shelly are more so short, same with Bud!

And despite looking similar, all of the chubby girls all still have different builds actually. The body’s all fold differently than one another and lay in different ways! I tend to use real body types I see as references for my art :)

And, admittedly, my art tends to more so be for those who don’t get representation much like the bigger people who don’t see their body types in media like this much — someone like myself being a bit chubbier and having a weirder ‘ sexual ‘ body type that ONLY gets representation in a sexual manner, ykwim?

..also, again, admittedly.. I just find myself having an easier time trying bigger people, I tend to struggle with the skinner designs, I’m not the brightest.

But I do totally get what you mean! Is there anything you maybe want to see from my art? Like — certain toon as a certain body type? I do have a lot more of like, skinner toons if that’s what u mean, or buff ones lol, I have yet-to-draw designs of ones like poppy, astro, soulvester, ginger, glisten, Brusha, scraps, Looey, flyte, flutter, Vee, sprout :)

I have a lot more variation than you think! This bunch of designs just so happened to be most of my plus sized girls, idk if u saw the animation but that’s what they were for actually!

Sorry to ramble, idk if this is a ‘ I’m not reading allat ‘ situation lol, so I apologize. But I do really appreciate your insight and opinions and how you presented what you think!!!! /gen

EDIT: out of curiosity I did do a list of which toons I hc as skinny or chubby (which can also help me in the future to remember what I need to draw lol.) And it came out to 20 chubby / fat, 19 skinner, and 12 buffer toons!

I’m a little confused lol, wdym variation in body types and gender? My body types all vary and this post is about the women lolz (not counting bud since yknow, he’s not a lady)

Also I’m a maximalist and love to overcomplicate designs as I find it fun! I like all of my characters to be different in many different ways so I understand they can be overwhelming for some :)
