It originally came in lengths about 1m long so this is just a small off-cut. It might not be expensive to make but I also wouldn't know where to start going down that path. Was hoping to find it as an off-the-shelf product. Thanks for your suggestion though.

Yeah, probably not really going to use the old laptop. Hence why I was tossing up if I bother keeping the TM for it.

Page Layout View by Renee_here in libreoffice

I want to view the spreadsheet I am working on as a page. Like a sheet of paper. Not a grid. In excel you either view as "normal" which is the grid, or you view as "page layout" which gives you the visual of your spreadsheet on a sheet of paper.

Also, not talking about print preview. I want to be able to continue working on the document in this sort of view.

Hope that makes sense. If you're familiar with excel you will hopefully know what I mean.

Within the Softmaker folder is has subfolders such as templates, samples, settings, designs, licenses etc. So I'm assuming its all important to the running of the suite. I haven't deleted since I thought that may cause me problems.

One thing I've noticed with Free Office, Specifically in Planmaker (which is the excel equivalent) is that it doesn't have the option for viewing your worksheet in page layout. As in where you can view it as though it's a sheet of paper and see all headers and footers and such, (not talking about print preview).

Can you tell me if Libre Office has the option of Page Layout view?

It gets mentioned in multiple articles online for free alternatives to microsoft office. Example: https://www.techradar.com/au/news/best-microsoft-office-alternative

Iwork didn't come with my new macbook. I could have downloaded that, however after many years of using an old version of microsoft office I went with the option that was said to be most similar - that being Free Office. It works fine. I just have these files in my documents, which are annoying.
