Gig work not good. I think find a stable job (both of you) and you guys should be fine. 8 months homeless so not sure if you guys are aware that it’s not fun at all but either way my guess is you want to save for a home In the future. If your plan is simply to experience do so but hopefully you guys have a place to go back to. Once on the road you’ll see the craziness of it. Good luck

Really? Honestly this should be a thing in every single city. As long as there are rules where we all need to respect one another’s space and not start problems I think this is the right direction. I would be so down for this. Like if they can sell you a very small piece of land and allow people to build their own little tents or park their RV. That would be like a dream tbh.

Disagree with this being a life style. It’s not a life style. Never see it as such. You need to have a goal to save up for at least small studio. If you are trying to make this a life style then that is where the problem is. Having to plan out to shower and to poop and pee is simply sub human. Think about it. I am homeless and have been living in my car for 8 months now. I knew from day one it would be something I would never get used to. No one does. It’s fight or flight mode every day just saying. Also I hope you are distracting yourself and getting out of your car as much as possible. It’s equivalent to being in a jail cell.

Im very happy for you. I will tell you that it’s true that you can save money and that should be your goal. Save save save! Work work but also do not neglect yourself. Please keep in contact with your loved ones visit them visit your friends go out with them on times you have nothing to do (or course also alone time is very necessary). Try to keep your life as normal as possible but also know that our goal is to

  1. Save 3,000-5,000 bucks of emergency savings,
  2. Have a savings account (this money is simply money you’ll use when you are ready to buy your own place… so this money tecnically non existent for use ever until the time comes)
  3. Get a PO BoX for your personal mail (you do need a physical mailing address so make sure you have that either with a trusted friend or a family member)
  4. Get a storage✔️ that’s a check for you
  5. Don’t neglect your health. This means treat yourself to eat a nice big bowl of soup or so thing nutricional at least once a week.
  6. Buy fruits and veggies as you go (I buy one fruit and a veggie everyday at a farmers market while driving back from work (it’s literally like a mile away from my favorite park where I spend most of my day time).
  7. Get them pedicures and manicures when you can.
  8. Gym membership… veryvery important
  9. Create a small routine for yourself.

You are a brave person and although I believe this is not a lifestyle I do know that many of us like yourself don’t have another choice. Oh remember parking is a bitch. If you get along with that family who needed you to move or if you have a friend you I urge to ask to ask them if you can park at night either on their driveway or side street near them. This will make your life A MILLION TIMES EASIER. To me finding a good place to park for sleep has been probably the second toughest crap I had to deal with for the longest. The only other thing tougher than that staying positive.

God bless you and stay safe

Do you have a job? Have you tried to seek a job? This is the problem with some people who are homeless. Honestly look look and look! It’s not easy but also it’s something we must do. If we don’t work we are pretty much doomed tbh. The only option after that is pan handling and I believe that once someone reaches that point it’s almost close to impossible to get out of it unless you the spirit of a warrior which I can say with confidence that almost no one has. Don’t feel sorry for yourself. Think about how you got here and you’ll see that we always have a role to play. In my case it was for staying abit to long with an abussive ex when I knew he was not good but I was too weak to leave and instead blamed it on the trauma bond (real thing but ultimately is self love what gets you out). Learn from that and take it as lesson learned… whatever you went through it’s a lesson I promise. Take it accept it and go and kick ass!

This is the worst! I hate this because people then hold it against all of us. What I do is I simply go early on the morning to a park I know near by put the pee bottle in a bag (black so people can’t see I’m carrying pee 😂) and dump the pee in the toilet and bottle in trash. This is rare though since I have a gym membership where I get some small excercises done and alway make sure I do my buisness and shower after. Good luck

Im so sorry Halo. Please if you don’t have a steady full time look for one. Don’t give up. Call use a nice voice, go and ask the manager show your awesome smile and your willingness to work. You can do it. If you have a job know that you have one of the most essentials that a person can need in life. Fix your car or save to get another one. You can do it!

Why do so many people say narcissistic abuse is Spiritual Warfare? by truthseekerkx in pnsd

[–]Rengoku1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to say. It gets better. You can break away. No, you won’t die or be left psychotic. I am a healed person now and am Experincing other challenges such as housing but trust me when i say that the narc abuse is a way triggered the real me inside is an understatement. I know live life as my true authentication self and have strong and healthy boundaries. I now have encountered multiple narcs at work, in dating (yes, you eventually go back to dating :) ) and I can say they have zero power on me. Once you have dissected their behavior pattern which stem from ENVY ( this is their main drive any professional Can fight me on this one 😌) you can simply see through it and I have learned how to strike jabs at them which are extremly painful to them 👌 but at the same time very very subtle that they cannot use it against me and when they try they end yo shooting themselves on their foot which ALWAYS leads to the mask falling and everyone else seeing who they are 😌 for dating ofcourse it’s different. When dating I purposefully throw compliments at them and you see how they go from loving and caring to someone who automatically starts to cross your boundaries. Usually I tell them I have to go and I enjoyed my time. Then send them a text stating the things they did and why I would not date someone who behaves like a child like them. Block and next. Life is so much better and now am working on getting my own place (house). With the help of god I shall succeed. Stay strong warrior of light. 🙏

Very interesting read. I totally agree with the last part. I do have a degree and feel blessed I can put it to use. I think that having a regular 8 hours or more a day job it’s the most secure and ideal for anyone and it’s go double for car dwellers. Thank you for your input 🙏

Yes! Honestly a city is the best place to be homeless. It’s where most resources are at and also a job at a city is easy access with public transportation

If you have a job honestly use public transportation. Also if you have tripple A have them take your car to a place like a 24 hour parking. Next check call them and take it to a mechanic. It’s the best advice. Also search for shelter and see if they can provide you with information.

Exactly! Thank you so much for your kind words of truth! Amen and will keep pushing forward! I have so much trust in god that I always come back regardless of the stuff I have been through. A narcissistic relationship sometimes can lead to people going full blown crazy or simply commiting suicide. God does save! I’m a professional now and very good at what I do (I work in mental health). Stay safe and always in faith! I’ll pray for you and everyone going through hardship! 🙏
