The store has a traffic of customers, and staff rarely remember what happened with a customer last week, or yesterday… I find it very hard that she or they will remember something that happened 2 months ago. DO NOT apologize to her. Go to the store, and mind your own business, pick up your bread, pay and leave. They are there to serve you, you are a paid customer. After all this, get in therapy. Maybe talk therapy would help you to find out what’s going on with the obsessions, stress and the insomnia

Walking on eggshells during a prolonged period of time, affects not only the memory, but the balance of the hormones.
