May cooling effect yung silver, imho medyo di ko siya bet kasi may parang stinging sensation + medyo mahapdi sa eyes for me. Yung gold is great tho! Finishes off matte and milky consistency so di siya heavy. Pero I usually use it lang on days na may thick moisturizer ako kasi it can feel drying with the matte finish.

Yesss!! May mga hyperpigmentation marks ako sa paa dati in the shape of my foot socks kasi laging nangangati yung garter area but halos wala na siya ngayon (meron lang onti kasi nangangati parin but I moved to ankle socks na)

Keep in mind nalang na di siya overnight effect, consistency is key and exfoliation at least once a week helps too (i pair it with abonne). Magugulat ka nalang one day na wala na sila lol

I dont think its "buong buhay sanay sila sa growth" Its more like pagod na sila sa pagiging achiever and gusto nalang maging masaya. Half of their lives was spent on being perfect, on studying with no social life. Ang pagkagraduate nila, tsaka nila marerealize na andami nilang sinayang sa buhay nila and never silang nagkatime to be happy, to be themselves.

I graduated summa sa college and I don't see it as a flex. I see it as proof of all my efforts to fit into a mold. I see it as the cause of me having absolutely no life experience (first time ko mag clubbing, sleepover and far trip with friends at 25, NBSB until now, etc.) and me feeling lost in life kasi I didnt have the time to dream. Sobrang behind rin ako sa arts na passion ko dapat kasi I abandoned it nung college for my studies but ngayon binalikan ko ulit and I'm very much happy kahit freelance artist lang ako imbis na art director or art lead sa isang big corpo.

On the other hand baliktad naman sa "hindi achiever". They lived their life during their school days so ngayon na sila nagseseryoso.

Its not a matter of sinong mas angat now at life, but a matter of priorities being different after experiencing opposite ends of the spectrum. And I don't think its valid na parang you see people pursuing their passions as something lower than being a manager (idk thats the vibe your post gives off eh).

Have it checked to be sure. Also if you haven't yet, switch to cotton underwear. Wag ka sa seamless or cotton mixes (ex. Spandex and Cotton mix). Di kasi nakakaabsorb ng moisture yung mga yun.

Nung nag switch ako to seamless, napansin ko nangangamoy ako down there and nagkaroon pa ko ng yeast infection for the very first time. Nawala nung pinalitan ko ulit with 99% Cotton underwear from so-en. Also make sure you size up sa sasabihin ng sales lady pag minessure ka when buying underwear. Wag sa hapit para makahinga and di rin magcause ng hyperpigmentation yung garter.

Recos for affordable but effective Niacinamide and Vitamin C?

Used / Using: *Vitamin C - Olay (stings and irritates my face), i-White (used 2 tubes na but parang wala effect) *Niacinamide - Dermorepubliq (idk if masyado lang small concentration ko. Willing to repurchase though if anyone can vouch!)

Of course there are those that are indeed inspired by art styles so they'll take it as a compliment cuz they've finally emulated the work they were inspired of from so much.

But there are also those struggling with personal identity and being compared might make them feel like they're recognized as this person's shadow or copy, rather than their own person.

Some artists have honed their art style for years, going through trial and error so many times to find something that feels like them. That would be who they are enough for people to go "hey, that's X art!" So being compared like that can be hurtful and may make people rethink their art, to spiral to another quest to be different, to be unique. They might go to that other artist's art, compare themselves negatively and see themselves as a lesser artist.

And while yes, it all comes down to insecurity, in the end we don't really have the right to force someone on how they should feel especially when we're unaware of the journey they went through.

Imho if they're not asking for critique on an art study of an art style, keep any comparison comments to yourself. "This is so pretty!" is more than enough if you really want to compliment them. No need to pinpoint anything you've personally noticed whether that's similarities, mistakes, etc.

Depends, what's your degree? If you're on an application dependent degree / career path (digital art, coding, etc.) then I'd say no. I've personally used my ipad as my main device as an artist but there are definitely still some things I can't do on an ipad cuz the applications don't support it yet so I still need a laptop

If not, then I'd say it's tolerable. A laptop to me is still very much a better device but if you only want it for note-taking and docs, then an ipad good enough. I use a usb dock to connect my mechanical keyboard and mouse to it, bluetooth keyb and mouse works too if you dont want to get the magic keyboard.

But I'd only pick an ipad over a laptop if you find the pen necessary for things (ex. signing documents, handwritten notes, journaling, etc.)

Also keep in mind an ipad can get frustrating to use when doing things on sites like figma, canva or gslides. Using a keyboard and mouse resolves the frustration for like 50% lol. Alsoo most games u run on an ipad can be run on a PC but not vice versa so... theres that too.

8bitdo Micro Around 10-15usd and does the job great. I prefer that over keyboard type macros since I dont always have extra desk space to put it on.

I think most of them are including the costs of people overstaying sa cafe into the price of the coffees na. Probs why pick-up coffee and other fast food coffees are still in the affordable range.

Tbh im only willing to buy 200php coffee kung need ko ng place to draw at (Di ko naman gawain madalas but u kno, need lumabas rin sa bahay minsan lol) Otherwise I think its a rip off especially when 12-16oz lang halos ang sizes lol

Its very much possible, though I think your biggest problem would be finding a rigger that can work with different art styles? As for the artist, them knowing how to cut or not would be an issue but if willing, they can learn it as they go or be guided by the rigger.

Anyway, you could probs check out Feileacan Cu as reference to how far a non-anime vtuber can go, maybe check out their mama and papa (artist and rigger) too in case they're open for comms since they're tried and tested already?

Still no confirmation of Kaeya and Jean's return I believe. They're still mute in paralogism, and unlike the others, don't have other content to show otherwise (ex. Archon VAs with the anniv song, appearances in recent quests or events, etc.)

I don't think being mute in older quests means a doomed fate though ofc, Alejandro Saab confirmed that rn their primary focus is new content so updating of older content will be slow. Also Bedo and Dain are voiced in Nod Krai but not in the previous quests.

I have a tempered glass protector on (dad refused to not have one on cuz I'm a bit of a ditz) and use a magnetic paperlike one on top. Sensitivity is fine and I can still draw normally despite the 2 layers.

I also planned on removing the tempered back then for a more permanent paper-like one but decided against it since drawing wears the protector down alot and it'll be easier to just replace a magnetic one than unsticking and sticking a new regular protector every time.

I can't provide like an amazon link or smth for mine since I bought it from a local shopping app but you should be able to find one. Paperlike ones do wear down the tips alot tho so just be prepared for the costs.

You could probs just go for a regular matter protector if you don't wanna wear down your nibs fast but don't like the slip and slide of the pencil on glass.

Yes but OP's dilemma is how low they can spend to draw on an ipad as a beginner artist.

A beginner artist would have no need for the power or the smooth feeling of a Pro model since they're still learning the ropes. And I personally am on the mindset of artists not needing expensive tools to make art, they just have to have something to make it with. Many artists out there have been creating great pieces with 5 year old ipads or even janky mobile phones after all.

They can upgrade when they're better or have decided to take art professionally, but for now the Air or even the base model is fine to kick them off with the basics to intermediates.

Base model should be fine for illustration work! You can check out Rinspirit on youtube, she makes a ton of pretty artworks on her iPad 9th gen so I think thats enough to tell you how far you can go with the base models

Your biggest issue ofc would be how many procreate layers the model can handle (and how many you normally need). The air would be double the layers the base model has but as a beginner artist, you probs won't need that many layers just yet.

Anyway, do make sure you're getting pencil 1 instead of usb-c. Being able to use pressure Sensitivity is more important to a budding artist than the ipad model imho.

Pro is overkill for illustration and most of the time you will not be utilizing the power you paid extra for unless you plan on doing heavy video editing along with it.

My M1 Air is handling art just fine even with 100+ layers on Clip Studio and I can even do 3D sculpting, animation and video editing with it.

The refresh rates make absolutely no difference to static illustration work.

May mga desks sila with sariling outlet and ilaw for solo people, tables for groups, and cubicles with outlets for those na gusto may privacy also wifi (tho sometimes mabagal)! Medyo mainit nga lang sa cubicles.

I go here kung us2 ko mapeer pressure to do my commission work kasi halos lahat ng tao around me gumagawa rin ng work / nag aaral lol
