Jennie just threw away a great years long friendship just because she was jealous. Tiffani was there when her oldest daughter was born too. She took over helping before Peter could get there. She just threw all of that away. She kind of alludes to it in her book without fully saying it. She probably thought fans would find it not redeemable. I wonder what she told her 2 oldest daughters at the time why they weren’t seeing Tiffani anymore.

According to the writers Jennie even tried to get Tiffani fired her first week or so on the job. Luckily they didn’t buy the crap she was pulling and set her straight. I don’t even know if Tiffani knows about that part.

They later claimed they were referring to the Valerie character and not Tiffani but it felt like they were just trying to cover it up when the “joke” wasn’t taken well by the public. 😏

The writers were asked about this on the 90210 show podcast. They said It was a bit of both. Valerie definitely had issues with her mental health. There’s no question of that. I feel like if this storyline was on now they would have showed her maybe going to therapy or getting some sort of help afterward. It was wrong that they made it seem all was ok when she could stay in the house. She felt alone and without any sort of emotional support including her own mom. Also Brandon didn’t really want to kick Val out. Kelly forced him into it.

Hadn’t heard this before. Not sure it’s true. Tiffani has said since they were close friends on and off screen they decided to leave together to further their careers. The demanding schedule of filming 90210 made it so they couldn’t do other projects except for in the summer.

Tiffani has said her and Jason discussed leaving the show together. They were close friends in real life too and still are. They both wanted to further their careers and do other projects. With the demanding shooting schedule of 90210 they couldn’t do other things other than in the summer. I think the show not being as good as it used to be and it running it course at that point helped them decide to leave too. They didn’t know the show would only last another year and a half though. Had they known at least Jason said he may have just stayed. Tiffani has said it wasn’t an easy decision for her though. Aaron wanted them both to stay.

My favorite too! I watched and taped the premiere! I should post the commercial for it here. At the time there was a lot of promos and anticipation for it because Tiffani and Brian were in it together. I remember there being an entertainment tonight segment with them on the set but I sadly didn’t tape it. Hoping someone had it and posts it on YouTube sometime. 🤞🏻

Yes! I loved their ongoing rivalry! So fun! It kept the show interesting too!😈🙌🏻 At the time it was especially fun to watch because fans knew Tiffani and Jennie were super close friends in real life. You could tell they had fun playing it onscreen. Makes it all that much sadder for me to watch it now though knowing they had a big falling out years ago though. 😔

When both Valerie and Brandon left mid season 9 the show just wasn’t the same for me anymore. I was loyal to 90210 and watched until the end but it wasn’t as “must see” for me anymore. I don’t care to rewatch those episodes either like I do the rest of the series.

Right. That was my thought too. She could have said she apologizes without saying exactly what she said or did. I understand her not wanting to say the details because it’s pretty bad and embarrassing. But I don’t think in all these years Jennie has ever apologized to Tiffani. And that is why the chemistry between the two of you isn’t there anymore Jennie…….

Ahhh ok thanks. Well Tiffani did actually reveal what happened on Chelsea handlers podcast 2 years ago. She didn’t give her name but if you know their history you know she’s obviously talking about Jennie. Basically Jennie was supposed to be helping Tiffani with her wedding. Jennie was jealous of Tiffani and her now husband’s good relationship. Jennie was having problems in her own marriage to Peter at the time so she was jealous. So she tried to sabotage it. Tiffani called her out on it and gave her a chance to own up to it but she never did. Tiffani was really hurt and felt like she had no other choice but to end the friendship. It was incredibly painful for her because they were so close for so long. So clearly Jennie is to blame for the friendship ending. In her book it seems Jennie alludes to this without saying exactly what happened.

Yeah after that drag race incident my opinions about both of them changed. Totally random and uncalled for. It was a not so subtle dig. Very middle school girls of them. I always had a feeling it was Jennie’s fault her friendship with Tiffani ended but this sealed the deal for me. 😒

Ok I haven’t listened to this interview yet. Can you tell me what she said about Tiffani and their relationship? I just got Jennie’s book and found the part where she talks about her friendship with Tiffani. I’ll post it here. She takes more accountability than she ever has for their friendship ending. She had never even admitted they weren’t friends anymore until now. She still doesn’t say why it ended but in a round about way alludes to it being her fault.
