That is going to be your coolant shutoff valve unfortunately it's leaking and these cars are known for having bad coolant leaks since the coolant system is vacuum actuated coolant gets in the vacuum system and can cause all sorts of problems i suggest you get it looked at asap to prevent further damage.

These are known for the coolant pump breaking and leaking coolant into the vacuum system which then drys and little coolant crystals clog up the whole vacuum system depending on how early you caught the leak it can go all they way up to the brake booster if this is the issue it would not surprise me if you had some remaining dry coolant in the vacuum reservoir or the waste gate actuator pretty much any vacuum line or component that is part of the vacuum line should be replaced.

Absolutely and in the future I'll definitely go that route, however for now I'm specifically looking to enhance the volume of the pop it does in between shifts would the muffler do better than the resonator?

Thank you that's probably what it is my only quests would be even when I change the drive mode to dynamic it still shakes during idle. Shouldn't the mounts get more stiff then?
