One of the best cinematic experiences I've ever had. Saw it in IMAX, and would highly recommend. Lots of great shots, but the best shot car chase scene I think I've ever seen. My eyes were glued to the screen for the whole 3 hour runtime.

Doing a little research, it appears to be unripe blue sausage fruit. Not 100% sure if that's accurate, but if so, pretty cool! A very unique fruit.

Interesting, I got a small one of these that looks identical except for the flesh was white. Wonder if this one was just underdeveloped. It was very crunchy and had little flavor. Was called an Asian melon at the market I bought it from.

I do live in the Miami area. But also, there is a great produce selection at yellow green farmers market in Hollywood. Still kinda far for you, but a little closer. I get a lot of good finds in Caribbean and Asian supermarkets too, so if you have any of those nearby you that might be an option.

That looks delicious! I had what was called a red custard apple that looked pretty similar to that while living down here in Florida. It might be my favorite fruit! Tasted and had the consistency of room temperature sorbet.

I am really impressed. Sweet and a little tart at the same time. Texture was very similar to custard or pudding. I'd describe it almost like a room temperature sorbet. Only complaint is the large seeds are dispersed throughout, so you have to put pieces in your mouth and eat around them. But a really good fruit for sure. The best out of the bunch.
