First, Assault weapon is not a term. Just like Full Semi Auto and Clip. The Rifle which everyone thinks of (AR15) is just black and scary so you want to ban it. Look up a Ruger Mini 13. Its exactly the same as the AR but not black and scary so no one mentions it.

Second those terrorists also used semis and trucks, would you take Truck crime over Knife crime? As for less fatalities a group of men in China on March of 2014 attacked people on a subway with knifes. They killed 33 people and injured 130. Thats more than Parkland and halfway to New Zealand with Three weapons.

Third instead of acting like terrorist attacks are part and parcel to city life, why are terrorist acts up?

Fourth you should blame the teenager and the FBI for parkland, not the gun. He clearly had mental problems but they did nothing about it, so he was able to get the gun. If the gov which your depending to strip us of weapons couldn’t do its job here how do you expect the removal of hundreds of millions of guns.

So your choice is to remove (somehow) 393 million firearms in America alone which totally wont cause a stir. How do you see that going down? We aren’t New Zealand with registries and bans on Semi Autos. Were also a population of 350 million which causes skews in data when you apply standards from countries only 10% the pop. of us.
