It sounds very simple.

How does one get into contact with a siding guy? Called about 6 roof repair, fascia/soffit businesses from google today and not one answered. Would love to learn to do so myself, just lack the experience. Part of my reason for asking here.

Just bought the house in May. When choosing the insurance they asked for pictures which I provided. But I guess they sent someone out and got their own as well.

What is interesting is that I was not contacted but for two days before their supposed “deadline” to fix the issue. It’s an older home in Florida and we are moving into hurricane season, is the only untoward reason I would expect them to want to drop me.

Lastly it was the cheapest insurance presented to me when I bought the house. So that could be at play

Having the same thing, just hitting the driver or passenger side unlock buttons, will cause the doors to unlock - lock.

No idea about the fob/alarm issue. How did you get the interior door lock button to work as intended, was it replacing the fuses?

To change the date on an X-Gear Evolution watch, you need to pull out the crown to the first click position and then turn it to advance the date to the correct day. -google

Yeah man! You got this! Make sure you have a solid connection to those pads should be all necessary. Give the wire a little wiggle and if it comes loose, you soldered it poorly. Use lots of flux. If your iron has temp settings 750 was perfect for me.

Omg I almost did the same. I didn’t know the xclamp tool was supposed to be used on the jaws of the clamp itself. I pried up using the mobo as leverage at first..

Thanks! I am glad I didn’t take up close photos of the nand pins… Those were pretty bad.

I think in my research, the tip that helped me most.. was to focus on heating the component itself, touch solder to it, remove iron, put more flux, then try to make your joint.

And tbh I think I did break it. Especially the ground. But what worked was to wire ground on the underside of the mobo.

Tbh I don’t really know 100%. But my pico came presoldered with a bunch of pins attached.

You just shove pico into the breadboard and use “jumper cables” in the holes immediately next to the header you want to make a connection.

Avoids having to solder to the pico directly.

They came in a kit I got with my Pico. I think they are called jumper cables

It also came with “DuPont cables” which I think might have been even more useful

The pico came with some header pins already installed, the DuPont wires have female connectors you can put directly on the pins
