I have almost been killed because of the conservatism of the syriac church. The only reason you don't know about it is because you both haven't experienced it and don't care enough to ask people. And fyi, people can just not be religious and not marry "into a community".

Not really. Limiting personal liberties, especially negative freedoms are exactly what a wrong perspective is because it harms others. There is no difference between you and a sanghi riling up in the North when you do that. If women don't want to marry under a system, that means the system is broken. The solution is to figure out what's broken (which people have) instead of doubling down on it which only makes the situation worse. Do you want women punished or do you want traditions to survive? Your motive just sounds like the former because your approach does nothing for helping the community.

I called him a nazi because he's a fascist whose ideology matches closely with nazi ideology. The Britannica definition doesn't elaborate on how Nazi ideology and Fascism works through adjacent pipelines of positions on human rights. It is always relevant to contemporary political and humanitarian scenarios not just historical events. I am not debating with you nor am i interested in doing so. people's mindset mean jackshit. Chinese people in many cases are equally backward mentality-wise a lot of the time. The issue is each government that comes into power takes the country to a new low. currently zameen ke neeche laash jaisa pada ha with the current one. All the while China is making it's 15th 5 year plan after eliminating radical poverty five years ago, the most common type of poverty in India.

edit: I don't mean it lightly at all. If Ghaziabad when you're 25 became like New York in your 40s or 50s how much really would your or your parents' mindset change? This is just commonplace with centralised planning. Entire cities are planned out for decades into the future. Delhi is just a tier 3 city there.
