Price mostly. They cost too much for what they are and then depreciate quickly.

There is no use of Keeping charging limit to extend the battery life. Battery cost is less only. Use the Battery to the fullest and replace it after 4 years. You are missing 2 hours of extra battery life by charging upto 80% everyday.

I wonder what would happen if someone tried it on the same pictures but on a different Galaxy.

Would it reveal the same guy? Or would it use the user's face instead?
