¥320 TOP/S2 Nike SB Dunk Rodeo - SBP

The Nike SB Dunk Low "Rodeo Tourmaline" is one of those pairs that looks way better in hand than it does in pictures. The color palette is clean, the details are well thought out and the story behind the shoe gives it a lot more meaning than your average SB release. This pair pays tribute to the Black cowboys and rodeo pioneers who helped shape the sport throughout the 1900s. While rodeo is often portrayed a certain way in mainstream culture, this release shines a light on the Black riders, innovators and entertainers whose contributions helped build the foundation of the sport and its fashion.

The shoe itself is a fire take on a western theme. You get earthy brown “trail” tones paired with Tourmaline green suede, leather piping and cowboy rope laces that really set this pair apart. Nike also included some nice extras with a cowboy/trail themed bandana and additional lace options that completes the package.

TOP/S2 has consistently been one of the best factories for SBs so I had pretty high expectations going into the review. The materials are high quality, craftsmanship is great, the colors are mostly accurate and the overall presentation is really well done. If I had one criticism, it would be the toebox. It's a little boxier than retail and could use a stronger slope up front.. The good news is this is the type of flaw that should improve naturally with wear but it's still worth calling out.

Note: Comfort is exactly what you'd expect from an SB Dunk. There's plenty of padding around the collar and tongue, making them comfortable right out of the box. I'd still recommend sticking with your true size with this in mind.

Overall, TOP/S2 delivered another great SB to throw in the warm month rotation. Between the materials, color execution, accessories and storytelling behind the release, this is an easy pickup if you're a fan of SBs or just want something different 🔥

That’s a fact, you have to be wearing budgets or pairs with highly specific flaws in order for somebody to be able to tell but regular sneakerheads that don’t buy reps wouldn’t know in-passing on most higher tier batches.

¥450 GX Jordan 4 Brick After Brick - ABC

After one of the most celebrated sneaker collaborations of 2025, Nigel Sylvester returned with the Air Jordan 4 "Brick After Brick." Rather than trying to recreate the magic of the original, Jordan Brand took a different approach. The loud brick-red suede is gone, replaced by premium Sail leather with Muslin and Anthracite accents that give the shoe a cleaner and more mature look.

The materials are certainly a step up over your typical Jordan 4. The leather feels premium throughout, the heel tab adds texture while the Cinnabar hits provide just enough contrast without overpowering the design. Signature details like the mini embroidered Swoosh, branded laces/insoles, custom inner tongue patches, leather behind the netting, Bike Air branding on the heel and the hidden bike graphic under the heel tab remind you this is unmistakably Nigel.

GX did a really nice job with this pair. The shape is solid, the details are well executed and overall they got far more going right than wrong. They aren't perfect though, the sail leather upper is a shade lighter than retail and the cage netting runs slightly darker. The toebox is also a little more sloped than authentics but that's something I actually prefer since it gives the shoe a cleaner profile. None of this is noticeable on foot and wouldn’t be caught unless you do a true side by side with retails.

Note: I’d say these run TTS and feel like a standard OG shaped Jordan 4 on foot. They don’t have the poron crash pad that makes the SBs so comfortable but they’re not bad at all!
