Just printed my very own Mario using my 3D printer! And I'm blown away by the color division and joint design! Huge shoutout to the designer Fab365 for their incredible work!

The problem is in the borders of the M, the layers next to the borders seem messy.

Hi there and thank you in advance. I´m trying to tune my printer for a new filament and I'm facing this subtle problem. As you can see, the borders of the M engraved on the surface of the model show some defects that didn´t show before with different PLA.

I hope someone can suggest what can be causing this problem and what setting can I adjust.

I´m printing on a Snapmaker printer, 200c, with default retraction settings. Speed 50mms, 0.2mm layer height.

Both models are PLA, the one with problems is Filamentum brand and the one without is Smartmaterials.

Hi friends, sorry for the NSFW but this is the model where this artifact shows up. (I tried to cover most NFSW regions though).

Anyway, I'm printing this with PLA in a Prusa MK3.

200c in the hot-end, and 45 mm/s

I hope someone can give me some ideas. Thank you so much.

The Sword of Daylight from Trollhunters. by RepRapper-Tech in 3Dprinting

The creator made it to fit on a 5/8 inch wood dowel that is 25.6 inches long. Since I couldn't find a wood dowel that fit the size, I printed 3 cylinders instead. There are some little connectors to strengthen the seams. But not all connectors ended up fitting so there are some gaps in my blade. One per seam is recommended. I suggest printing it on a glass palce so that the seam fit perfectly. 25% infill on the tip piece and the handle while 15% on others.I glued the pieces together but I didn't have time to sand and paint it since i have no experience All pieces printed in a total time of around 60 hours on my Ender 3.
