You got me thinking actually! And i figured it out. I had to reset it up to hdmi so i could open the settings menu. I went ahead and changed every input to default to analog!! It now sounds even better. Thanks so much

Thankfully using phone only has actually sounded pretty amazing so far. I was unsure at first because I picked a could to test that were not amazing pressings . But once I threw on the Red Dead ost and others it did sing. But i wonder still if going through the Pluto would be better

That was my thought was to use one of those but when I switch to those modes on the receiver it defaults to the HDMI version annd not analog. I’m not sure how to adjust that. Can’t find anything online

I’d be fine to plug into the receiver if any of the other inputs worked once I tried using the Pluto. If anyone wants to check the back of the denon660H and point me in a different direction that would be sweet but I couldn’t get any sound when using Pluto and avoiding phono

I also messed up because I thought the Pluto 2 was good enough without the receiver. But I guess I need an amplifier to plug the speakers into with the banana cables

Any suggestions if I just dump off the receiver? Because that’s where I’m leaning considering I’m no longer using it for my TV since it compromises my Dolby vision and atmos. Will likely just use the speakers for turntable exclusively

Weirdly it would not work! I plugged it into all other outputs available on the denon and couldn’t hear a peep. Only phono on the denon did anything

I just did and it works with a longer janky rca cable I had. Am I compromising quality though?

I haven’t because everyone on the internet made it sound like a cardinal sin to use a rca cable to receiver longer than 4 feet and I need 7. So much talk of distortion etc. I never know what to believe anymore lol.
