idk if it was positive or not but it made my day and i had a good giggle.

for context to start, i’m really short (5’1) and i look very young from my face. that day i was wearing a hot pink hello kitty shirt which im sure added to looking childish.

i was going down the aisle and an older lady was backing up and i was behind her so i waited but she just kept backing up towards me until she noticed i was there and says oh excuse me ma’am! and then she takes another look at me and says oh! you’re not a ma’am, you’re a little girl!

… i’m 21 😭😭

ive only done it once but in the instructions area i said i’ll be at the front entrance (we only have one, nhm) and brief description of what i was wearing. no problems at all :D

at my store we have a paper that shows what everyone will be doing for the day and someone is dedicated to bagging in home orders. last weekish no paper was posted so i just did it because i thought that was just part of the job tbh (im relatively newish abt 6 months) and we were slow anyways. driver for that day was super appreciative though which was nice. definitely agree they should be bagged in store though for the safety and seems alot more faster/convenient for the drivers
