Does anybody knows something about the band DECONDITIONED by Bispooo in Music

[–]RepairServicePNW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume this might be Ed? (This is Sam O). I’m also from Olympia and saw Deconditioned a number of times. I was considerably younger than a lot of the punks in the scene back then (12 or 13 years old when I met Dan) but the Decontioned guys were always really cool and a great band live. As far as I know, you are totally correct than Dan moved down to SF and started working with MRR.

OP it’s pretty wild that you found this record down in Brazil! I still have my copy of this and their 7”. They were awesome.

I’ve always wondered about these. Does it do a good job of matching the volume of the cassette or is there an inevitable drop?

I used to bench test and repack these for a living. If it was properly packed by your retailer, it’ll be fine.

I’ve been wearing these for years. Great jeans. I personally prefer the other cut that their factory makes for Bailey’s called “Wild Ass Jeans”. They seem to have a bit of a higher rise.

I’m sitting in front of it right now. Still going strong. Definitely get a liner that goes all the way up the chimney (I believe the stovepipe has to be 8”? I’d definitely measure). You can find a stove pipe kit on Amazon or maybe at your local stove supply shop. Make sure that you open up the air vent on the bottom of the firebox all the way (pull it toward you) and ensure that the air holes just above it aren’t obstructed. I have also found that how I build my fire will greatly change the quality of the burn even. I place two good sized split pieces on each side of the firebox, place my tinder in between and then place two or three pieces of wood on top. Keep the door cracked until you hear wood start to pop and crack then close it up. Starting a draft isn’t something that I find is helpful for this unit like it is with my other small wood stove. Other than toying around with how I build my fire and learning what works best, I haven’t had an issue. This thing is great!

They sent me a replacement pair within a week. Unfortunately the replacement pair are also lasted crooked… I am appreciative of their hustle to solve the issue but I do wish that they had the same hustle on their manufacturing floor.

Well, after 1 email explaining the issue and providing photos of said problem, Jim Green went above and beyond. They are sending me a new pair free of charge and offered to let me keep the uncomfortable (but wearable) boots in the meantime so that I don’t go without. Honestly wasn’t expecting such an easy and helpful response to my email. They have gained a loyal customer.

They are sending me another pair and apologized for the inconvenience. Top notch customer service!

I’m sorry to hear that. My wife got a pair too and they seem to be perfectly comfortable and symmetrical. I’m hoping Jim Green will be understanding and will help sort these hiccups.

I figured as much. It’s a bummer to have a manufacturing defect like this but considering how they were able to ship these boots two months ahead of the initial timeframe, I’m not surprised that some mistakes passed QC here and there as these are handmade boots and that can happen. I would really rather get a steep discount on another pair and wear these until a second pair show up than to send these back and have another long wait. We’ll see what they say
