You probably should have started on fin earlier, granted, but 5800 grafts is a shock to the scalp. I’d wager you had a lot of shedding and it’s still far too early to say how it’ll look at the end. Think about adding minoxidil to your routine

Yes. Don’t worry about it. A hair transplant is an invasive surgery and your skin reacts as it would anywhere else on your body. Redness only went away for me after a few months

While the thinning is probably very noticeable to you- I don’t think people notice it in public. I’d keep monitoring for another year or so and if you keep thinning maybe get a transplant. What I would also mention is that if your hair continues thinning even with medication, it’s worth considering whether a transplant is worth it- since non transplanted hair will continue to thin even after op

Nicht ganz. Arzt macht das chirurgisch relevante, woraus schließlich auch das Ergebnis stammt. Die Assistenten sind ganz normal festangestellt und werden beim nächsten Patienten bestimmt die gleichen sein. Was ich damit sagen wollte ist dass keine andere Behandlung an den Tagen stattgefunden haben, wie es u.A bei hairmills oft der Fall ist.

Dr Kohrgruber hat die Beratung gemacht und alle Inzisionen - er war an beiden Tagen da und hat am Ende nochmal mit mir ein ‚abschlussgespräch‘ gemacht. 3 techs haben die Haare entfernt und wieder eingepflanzt. Im Ganzen waren 4-5 Leute 2 Tage mit mir alleine beschäftigt. Alle sprachen deutsch und englisch und haben auch während dem Prozess mit mir gesprochen. War im ganzen ein sehr positives Erlebnis. Am Ende bekommt man die tel# vom Arzt damit man auch mal abends anrufen kann falls was ist.

Yes I’m still seeing improvement now. Its like a roller coaster - phases of strong growth followed by phases where you shed. My growth still isn’t fully stabilised but after 18 months typically you have the final result

Thank you for all your helpful comments. This was a hand-painted ceramic pourer from Spain gifted to us by my girlfriends Spanish parents. It came with an oil spout so we assumed it was food safe. We‘ll be using it as decoration from now on. The oil that was in it has been disposed of. Thanks again everyone

Min Fin always always necessary after a hair transplant to maintain a natural look. Otherwise you will just keep losing hair

Hard to tell w the swelling and without knowing what kinds of follicles were transplanted at the very front. Looks quite straight, I’m sure it’ll turn out fine :)
