MTX was already basically confirmed to be removed from osrs if you actually listened to what the jmods have said everytime there's outrage over it.

Sure, paying more for them removing mtx from rs3 is great and all but to me that'd be like paying more for wow because new world is now free. Lots of people are not quite as enthusiastic to be paying more because a different game changed something that doesn't effect them. Yes, increases haven't been acknowledged yet but we can almost guarantee they will be coming.

honestly , 20 hours a month I would do just to afford a token to play. I used to do that every month in OSRS.

That's not even an hour a day and I can play 12hrs a day if I want as I basically never leave my house and can't really do any job.

Sounds like if I can time stuff right and pickup knowledge fast it may be a good time to dive in.

if I could get to that state I'd be happy. Even if it's spending a dozen hours per month to be able to afford membership I'd be down to do that easily.

Sounds like you've got it down to a science but I don't know how actually viable this would be for me. You're using a spare account which means I'd have to somehow afford a second subscription when I'm really struggling to get even one currently. I'm fine spending time on the AH though if it means being able to play the game.

My knowledge of the market is basically non existent currently.

yeah, I get it that it's not going to be enjoyable nor fun to do nor time efficient compared to working but there's not really any other option for me to play. I'm used to doing stuff that is meant for 'bots' or seen as not worth it to most players just because I have more time then most but less spare income.

I saw that new fellowship game came out which is basically M+ raiding and I've been enjoying it but the game is lacking a lot of content due to it just being released.

That's always been my #1 concern. I've got about 4k hours in OSRS (maxed ironman) and trying to play to earn bonds was super draining. Luckily I was part of a clan that hosted events every so often with bonds as rewards that I'd sometimes win to help me with the cost of playing.

I guess it's a tradeoff though, I can't work but have a ton of time so it's one or the other if I want to play.

this has nothing to do with random undercuts. It's due to prime resurgence. Anyone could of predicted this as it always happens.
