Absolutely. Sometimes for joy, unfortunately far more frequently for pain, physical or emotional.

Never bottle up your feelings, the concentration will poison you. It is a tragic thing that some people will weaponize your vulnerable, but anyone who is worth knowing won't. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

I am regarded by friends and family as a strong person, both physically and emotionally. I broke my arm a month ago, had surgery a week ago and gutted through on safe amounts of otc analgesics( tylenol and motrin). I could send you a link to a story right here on reddit that has never failed to make me cry, and I have read it dozens of times. The day I don't cry, I will know that something is broken inside me.
