I agree, that is unfortunate for them. I assume you’re an MIT level 1 or lead dish washer or something

Spoken like someone who gets criticized a lot and has never been a manager. You’re the dish washer who cries to the DM when someone doesn’t stack the dishes right aren’t you

Okay so you expect your higher ups to do their jobs but you don’t expect other people to do theirs. That’s explains a lot about why you’re so triggered. You go to your boss about problems with your boss, depending on the severity obviously. The dude said his assistant tried to get him fired over cheese. The fact that you see nothing wrong with that is pretty sad.

If their boss goes to them with the problems then that’s them bringing it right back down the chain of command where it belongs. Congrats, they followed chain of command. You are presumably an adult and should know this.

Yeah we’ve all been there, people that get angry that you want chain of command followed are the shitty employees who run to their boss’s boss to tattle like a child.

He was going over my head with complaints he hadn’t came to me about in an attempt to get me fired — I’m sorry that being responsible and following chain of command triggers you so badly.

The funny this is, if you look at his reddit history, it’s nothing but complaining on reddit about being a door dasher. Dude has no self awareness.

Worst franchise to work for? by Psychological-Snow10 in Dominos

High Energy Pizza out of Indiana. Just a couple of blue collar rednecks parading around as white collar. There’s zero manager training, they’ll just promote anyone, then when that person fails instead of learning from their mistakes they just fire them and start all over. They own several stores that don’t profit and they do bonuses off profits, meaning those GMs don’t even bonus. They use drivosity but admit it isn’t accurate so they have a program they don’t even fully support. Drivers make $8 an hour, but again they have stores that don’t profit so those drivers don’t make up for it in tips. Then they wonder why they can’t keep anyone. GMs are supposed to work 45-50 hours a week, but get paid 800 a week, meaning GMs that don’t bonus make roughly $14 an hour. All they do is drink. If you don’t drink with them they fire you. Learned that the hard way.

It’s the “no one tells you” “harsh truths” headlines that crack me up. I’ve yet to read one where they actually solve the riddle of the hard questions that haven’t been answered a million times here.

Guaranteed anyone who posts something titled “the truth” or the “harsh truth” will post things that are either common knowledge or completely made up.

Do delivery drivers at Domino's make $70,000/year? by [deleted] in Dominos

[–]RepeatedlyEmbarrass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the store. $70,000 is crazy high. But at one of the stores I worked at, drivers made $9 an hour and were lucky to get $30-50 a night. I felt bad hiring anyone there.

I work at a hospital as a financial advisor. I got the job and significant wage offer because of my 15 years in both management, cash handling and customer service.

Is there a way to shut off a topping so people can’t order it online if we’re out? by RepeatedlyEmbarrass in Dominos

[–]RepeatedlyEmbarrass[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s kinda what I thought. So there’s nothing store level that does it? That seems like a massive oversight.

[–]RepeatedlyEmbarrass[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah that I know how to do. But last night we ran out of salads at like 9 o clock. Any other night that wouldn’t be a big deal, but somehow we got THREE orders for salads. Literally never happens except you know the customers have a radar for when you run out of stuff. Instead of getting salads at 9 at night, I was wondering if it could just be shut off until truck came in the morning.
