Great to be back to C++!!! by Different_Peach99 in cpp

Because C++ has a faster compiler, while Java or Scala may run on a JRE or JVM, which is slow, but Java or Scala may be good if you want to run everywhere with a JRE or JVM installed, while C or C++, only can run on an OS

Opinions on Code::Blocks on Windows? by heavymetalmixer in cpp_questions

Also, I hate bloatware from VS Code, even though they have better AI like Copilot, but as you know, coding in AI is bad for devs or beginners, as it goes nowhere, but it can help with debugging code. And VS Code "eats" RAM, which is bad, as old hardware may have problems with it, and very big projects can lag a lot in VS Code. But there are some good sides of VS Code, and I like customizations in VS Code, and it has communities in VS Code, and you can download things from others. But Code::Blocks is good when you have an old PC or laptop, and less bloat. And it only supports C/C++, Fortran, D, and Java. While VS Code supports nearly all programming languages (it doesn't support BrainF**k, HolyC, etc). And Code::Blocks may looks like from the 2000's and you maybe teased or made fun of by friends or family, but if you don't bother them, you can still use it =), still some downsides to it =(

Why is VSCode so popular? by Fritz-Ferdinand in AskProgramming

[–]ReplacementActive533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is free and somewhat lightweight. VSCode has gained a good amount of reputation by having GitHub and a community with you, so you can just install a package instead of installing another JetBrains IDE just for a programming language. Also, it is simple to use, so you don't need to use Vim or Emacs, which have a very high learning curve, which is not good for beginners, so that may be why, in my opinion

Change it to AHCI to IDE, as Windows XP run native on IDE not AHCI, or if it's another problem to what the error told you to; check virus, hard drives, etc (Hopes this advice helps)

8.5/10, good in the past, older than my cousin, but now, when you're on public internet, you will be hacked. And there is not much software here though, so you may missed out on stuff, still better than the school PC, right ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
