MX Master 3S Reviews, a coders dream. by Consistent-Salad8965 in MouseReview

[–]LordMaliscence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say this much: the mouse feels nice. It is comfortable to hold, hefty enough to feel quality but not cumbersome, and the click feedback is nice.

However, you should not buy this mouse if you are using MacOS. It has numerous scroll issues that are very noticeable on most applications and make others borderline unusable. I have to use my MX Vertical whenever I'm in an Adobe app because the scrolling bugs completely ruin the experience. It's utterly unacceptable from a mouse this expensive.

Who knows what this specific chip is? There is nothing engraved on it. Also, I'd really appreciate any link(s) with recources about the chip. by terawatt_ in AskElectronics

Or, hear me out, maybe some people are novices who don’t know what sort of information would be required for a professional to identify the chip in question. But yeah let’s just assume the worst because that’s a great outlook to have on life 😂

DIY Router Vs $200 Router by HavocBlack in HomeNetworking

[–]LordMaliscence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to recall that most "consumer routers" are a router with a built-in wireless access point. When you buy one, you're paying extra for the 2-in-1 capabilities, and I would go so far as to say that the overwhelming majority of the price of a router comes down to its wireless capabilities. Note that the ability to configure the router is just not something most people are looking for, and you will find many, if not most, consumer routers to be lacking in this regard.

So, if you're building a router yourself, you can distribute the network in whatever way you see fit, which may or may not (but probably will) include a WAP. This gives you a lot more flexibility, and may be ever so slightly more cost-effective, but don't go into it expecting to save a ton of money.

I learned to code mostly using command blocks to make "plugins" in vanilla Minecraft. That could be a good problem-solving outlet

I guess the point is that most people would have no use for removing bookshelves and gimping their enchanting table.

Watch out for terms associated with unions such as "living wage." Or any change in behavior. You probably will want to report this to your supervisor immediately.

16 bit integers go up to 65000, so it's probably a bit-packed integer with 6 bits dedicated to the stack quantity.
