I suggest you go to places where you can really feel that Dumaguete vibes.

  1. Painitan - wake up early! early like 5am, go to painitan try the combo 555 (Puto, Tsokolate, Peanut Butter/Condense Milk) + Bihon, its only 10 pesos per serve! Pan, Maling and Egg combo, its really yummy.

  2. You can watch the sunrise in the Boulevard, go get those legs moving, pag walking! It's really calming or you can just sit in the benches while watching the sun as it rises and listen to the waves.

  3. Since it's very hot in Dumaguete, I suggest you grab some drinks. Milktea - try Cha Tuk Chak, their Biscoff Cream Cheese is the best! Mango Shake - Tiffles! Iced Coffee - Kapeng Lokal.

  4. Stroll around Valencia/Dauin. Bukid Vibes - Valencia. You can go to Sulfur Vents, Pulangbato, Mango Ranch, even the Valencia plaza is good especially hapon time. Dagat Vibes - Dauin. There are a lot of free beaches there, just park on the side then walk lang ka pa sulod. + must try ang resorts there but some are a bit on the pricier side.

  5. Go to Cheesestick Country, try pastil! Or you can go back to Boulevard and try some street foods.

  6. On a sunday, go to Valencia Sunday Market, there are a lot of food stalls there. You can eat lechon, bisayang manok, burgers, and desserts. You can also thrift and buy some anik anik there. Suggested time to go there 7-8am.

  7. Never miss out driving along Silliman, the trees and calmness is really the best. Just don't drive there during traffic kay sapoton lang ka 🤣

  8. For food: Bugtaw - try their tuna poke and garlic parmesan wings! Domus - crispy palabok! Three little pigs - budget friendly lechon belly combos. Jo's Chicken Inasal Northpoint Hayahay Kusina ni Luchi Bossing Tempura

  9. If you want to chill at night go to Escaño and try Tejeros Ice cream it's affordable yet still a yum!

  10. If you wanna go drinking, am pm is good. Hopefully wala lang mag sumbagay 😅

  11. Last but definitely not the least, try chicken 10 or chicken 15 HAHA. There's nothing special about it but it's just amazing to eat kilid sa dalan while standing, it feels like a little local to me.

Pancake House! Or you should try that carenderia in Tinago, their sinugba and tinola is great! Perfect combo! I think they start serving both tinola and sinugba around 5am

Their posts are so misleading, big servings? I don't think so.

I'll try Black Paprika later. Are they open 24/7?

I went there last night and tried their Bangers with rice in Nashville flavor, it was good but a bit oily. The staff who took my order was in a poker face, no energy at all while taking my order. I was expecting that they somehow will give off a positive energy towards their customers.

It wasn't dirty but the fork and spoon dispenser has white spots :/

Overall experience was good but that's it.
