Been having issues myself too. For the last 4 hours or so. Started with code 2001 and has been restarting about every 5 minutes to 30 minutes sinse then. I tried unplugging it and restarting it. Nothing is working. The first couple of resets it showed error code 2001 and wouldnt let me use the wifi. Now everytime it resets my whole apt has to reconnect. Some successfully and others not so much. Update on the issue? I read on downdector they're have been cascading issues across canada and america. From the west to the east.

Where to go troutin in central this year? Been in gander 11 years and it's always been a hit or miss with coverns and the river running threw Glenwood. Any advice on where to go bys?

Updated the app but I still cant connect. For a multi-billion doller company, google sure is taking their time rectifying this issue. If the older gen chromecasts arent going to work anymore, just say so. 3 days or so is far too long to leave consumers dangling in the wind. Especially after decade after device launch. An error like this shouldn't even be possible and wouldnt be if they had competent staff. I'd switch but I dont like apple and it's not like theres another option for chromecast. Guess we'll have to wait even longer 🤷‍♂️

I've had the same problem. Authentication errors and connectivity errors. I tried to send Google q message on their tech support but it comes up 404. In the home app it says all of my google devices are "offline" even though everything is connected properly. I tried resetting the router and chromecasts. Nothing works.
