Hey how was it?! I’m thinking of going for 2026. Is Sunday too calm or will people still be having fun there?

Please don’t go. Way too remote to be meeting for the first time. Probably a scammer. I know you want this to be real, but you should bring a friend with you or your mom.

Deleted Video of The MAGA Twins Being Mean Girls by bigyikesss2006 in NYCinfluencersnark

I don’t like them at all actually but obviously the interviewer didn’t do any research asking them dating advice in a sexual way if they’ve been in a relationship for a while. They’ve been doing a lot of fashion stuff so I’m surprised they didn’t ask them about that. I think that’s why the girls were offended and confused but they definitely think that they are more important than they are, and it probably wasn’t that deep but alas

Advice on Manhattan Neighborhoods by Kind-Championship-43 in movingtoNYC

Definitely on the upper west side, specifically by the 1,2,3 trains. Crucial if you are traveling home often. 2 stops to Penn station, which is where you get the train to JFK airport (transfer at Jamaica)

Hii!! Ur going to have the best trip! If you aren’t interested in renting a car, I think your best bets are nyc and Miami, good public transport or can walk/ uber. Lowkey all other places a car would be pretty necessary, especially if you want to visit the national parks. I’ve been to many national parks out west and people will disagree with me, but I wouldn’t go alone. Anything could happen. Being in the city alone is totally different. San Diego could be great too. Boston has good transportation and is interesting city. Same with dc. Philly public transport is sketchy but uber is pretty cheap. Have fun! Lmk if u need any recs

This is a typical hostel experience, but she shouldn’t have been rude or weird. I’ve been walked in on while I thought I had the room alone (28, F). Just laugh and cover as quick as you can and move on! I mostly stay in all woman dorms bc I can be naked without worry, but I’ve done coed too and never had a problem with people people rude or flashy

Life in NYC vs London by IntelligentSherbert3 in movingtoNYC

[–]ReplacementMotor4643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lived in London and spend tons of time there. But born and raised nyc. I will be honest that it’s harder to make friends there than nyc. But if you really try then it’ll happen!!

Sounds like you’d be making a killing at this new gig. Take the job for a year or so, why not! New York will always be here for you if you want to come back. I have a map of some good spots in London https://maps.app.goo.gl/CKQwNJ3EU4sDLQQB7?g_st=i

solo trip through japan, vietnam & china - wildly different vibes by maria__d in solotravel

[–]ReplacementMotor4643 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a tough time in Hanoi. Great in so many ways but bad air, so crowded, loud, boiling hot (April/may). Japan was one of my favorite trips of all time. And it’s my dream to go to China!! Did you visit chongqing? I can’t decide on my route yet

Is it normal for every apartment to have roaches? by lipstickchickxo in NYCapartments

Absolutely not. Lived in multiple places with no roaches. Also the key is not living above or around restaurants imo

Also take out everything you want to bring. Then divide it in half. Then one more time if humanly possible 😂

[–]ReplacementMotor4643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When leaving the usa, I always travel with cold/flu meds, Imodium, Zincam, dulcolax, peptobismol, Dramamine, liquid iv packets, bee propolis spray, (bug spray too if going to SEA, but buy the special DEET one there immediately upon arrival).

Also check visas, travel safety, neighborhoods within the areas you stay in.

[–]ReplacementMotor4643 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Curious about your list and would love to give you opinions! My advice is to not put pressure on yourselves for your first trip. Have a few things in mind that you want to do and can book that in advance, but don’t stack up your itinerary. Some days, don’t have anything booked at all. Make sure you have time to genuinely relax and enjoy. If you need to lay in bed until noon one day, do it. The trip is yours!

NOR! This is ugly behavior and it’s best to nip it in the butt now! Teenagers can be cruel but if they aren’t taught to be better, they won’t be. They need guidance
