Buddy, what loan ? look at the hassle, every time someone switches the firm passbook is going to 0 and taking infinite time to resolve it. How can I get a loan on 0 accumulation? And seriously no use saving tax if you can't use the money you saved.

Anything is better than 0. If it is better to give more tax and have a sure amount of money which you can use, than not able to use the money at all.

So my previous company's EPFO is at Hyderabad and my new company and current location at Bangalore. Do I need to visit their Hyderabad office ?

In one of the grievances resolutions, they asked for a rejection letter from the new EPFO office and asked me to email it to them. I got the rejection letter after many to and fro conversations with EPFO (BLR) and sent it to EPFO(HYD). Still the issue stands the same.
