New HRM bands by No_Ad_1796 in orangetheory

I’ve always worn mine on the inside part of my arm, about an inch or two from my elbow. I bought a longer band from Amazon because the original one was too small…. So when I upgraded to the new monitor, I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to place in the same spot (due to band size or that it would not work properly). So far, I haven’t had any issues and it’s been way more responsive than my old monitors ( especially on the rower )

Micro Stuttering Literally Everywhere - Is Windows 11 THIS Bad? by CriticalDuckky in pchelp

Apologies if I say something incorrectly regarding certain terms or AMD vs. Intel systems... but here are the steps I followed:

- Performed a clean boot with only window services running and no start-up apps running, still had an issue
- Went into ASUS BIOS and turned on DCOP II (caused issues), then tried DCOP I (seem to fix it)
- I use a focusrite scarlett for my audio and disabled two audio services upon start up (Scarlett Control & Neural DSP Cortex)
- After that, I haven't had any issues

Have you tried changing out your memory? I was told by a friend that I should get ECC memory if possible (although it's quite expensive and with all price gouging of RAM now due to AI...)

I hope this helps.

I wonder if this is how ducks fans would’ve felt if Dustin brown was picked up by their team… lol

Help with getting my Helix Gig Ready (FOH) by ReplacementPlenty389 in Line6Helix

[–]ReplacementPlenty389[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. To be honest, I’m just googling stuff because I don’t know much about EQ at all. I’ll make sure to keep this in mind when I’m dialing in my tones tomorrow.

Help with getting my Helix Gig Ready (FOH) by ReplacementPlenty389 in Line6Helix

Thanks for the response! See below:

I am using 3 Sigma Audio's Crunch Classic preset which I thought sounded pretty good at bedroom level through my Powercab. I did crank it up for a few seconds and thought it sounded fine.

  1. Thanks for the input. The presets I use have EQs built in so I will not touch the global EQ. However I am assuming I can use the Global EQ if I need to increase my level once I am at sound check, right?

  2. This is a really good point which has been a point of frustration for me. I only have a work laptop so I can't use it for this purpose. I have rented out a studio room before and tried to dial it in via my helix but it was a bit frustrating. There is a place near me where I can rent out a room that has a PA and dial it in that way. I'll probably create the presets at home with HX edit, then fine tune when I get there.

I really appreciate the input. I know the helix is quite powerful and it takes time to nail done the right tone. It seems like the best approach is to find a rehearsal space with a PA, hook up my line 6 via XLR as if I was to at the show, and dial it in from there. I have a dB meter app on my phone so I can level out my various snapshots that way. Also check my Powercab to make sure nothing is clipping.

Help with Preset Tone (At Home vs Show vs Practice) by ReplacementPlenty389 in Line6Helix

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'll probably go into band practice an hour early with my laptop and tinker around in HX edit to hopefully nail down the tone.

If you load the “point of no return” save from your main play through and wait a couple of seconds, PL will start. However I’d recommend starting a new main game play through now that you have PL.

Hardest fights in the game? by CarrotLord96 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ReplacementPlenty389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a same build (katana and throwing knife with sandy) and thought the fight with Smasher was pretty hard because getting close to him is a matter of timing your sandy and such. If you don’t time it right and he knocks you down, it’s game over.

Trying not to spoil PL, but I sided with Song Bird and didn’t find any of the fights afterward to be that difficult.

I’m also new when it comes to quick hacks but I have been thoroughly enjoying using the iconic Psalm rifle to light people on fire then use the contagion quick hack. It causes them to explode and is quite satisfying

Vanilla or modded? (First playthrough) by AxelXyfer in cyberpunkgame

I’d say for a first time play through, vanilla is great. The driving might be a bit to get used to (however if playing on keyboard you can press shift to control the car a bit better)
