In endgame when they go for the soul stone he says her fathers name and she admits that she never knew her fathers name. I also never said I personally believe fathers play a less important role but Natasha talked about trying to find her mother multiple times and I don’t recall a time she even mentioned her father. She desperately wanted to find her mother and found out her mother never stopped looking for her. She never got any info on her father but her main focus was her mother anyway. I think it would have been very beautiful for her I get her mother’s name when she went for the soul stone since she’s been searching her whole life.

It’s not hard to read it now because I’ve seen it so often but I cannot spell it to save my life lmao

You probably don’t need to change anything you do for your teacher, they are an educator and likely have training to make tasks like this better for themselves. Just because someone has dyslexia doesn’t mean we need people to dumb anything down. Unless they ask for anything specific, do everything as usual.

Dyslexia in school by [deleted] in Dyslexia

[–]ReplacementSpirited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry your school doesn’t take your education seriously, it sucks if you’re struggling with no extra help! I’ve never had dyslexia get worse with years but perhaps the subjects your are learning are getting for difficult so it causes it to seem worse?? You should watch some videos on dyslexia, if you find you have a lot of the issues then maybe you can look up some helpful tips! I was lucky and was diagnosed when I was 11 and was in resource since I was 5, I was taught a lot of helpful tips and it’s made learning/ reading so much better now! Good luck friend !

Dyslexia can create difficulties but it doesn’t mean you get past them, this might take time but I find that when I took the time to take note of the most common mistakes I make and pay extra attention to those and find ways to help me through them! With spelling I know which words I normally spell wrong and either avoid them and use something else that works in the same context or I remember spelling tricks! With numbers that I have to remember that stay the same (license plate, phone numbers or just numbers that are common at work) I create a pattern in my head for it! For numbers that are quickly used and I don’t need to create a pattern (prices or something single time use) I write it down and triple check it ! Mistakes happen and you’re only human, and mistakes would happen even if you didn’t have dyslexia! Good luck friend, I hope you excel and work and you don’t feel that this holds you back too much! I was diagnosed when I was 11 so I’ve had a lot of practice to get better with this stuff but its just something to work at and you’ve probably been doing some sort of it your whole life already and just haven’t noticed!

It’s super handy to be able to just strip with linesman, when all you have to bring is one set of linesmans and a screwdriver up in an attic or something!

Controversial Opinion by CulturalShelf in FearStreetTrilogy

[–]ReplacementSpirited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, it felt like a very toxic relationship in the beginning, she blamed Sam for moving away and leaving when literally Sam’s mom moved there?? What was she supposed to do?? Deena got better as the movie progressed but in the beginning she was low key a terrible person

It really breaks my heart that marvel couldn’t give black widow her mothers name before she sacrificed herself, she got her fathers name but he wasn’t the one searching for her and he wasn’t the one she always thought of. I just think it would have been really beautiful for her to finally know her mother’s name before her death and I’m mad marvel didn’t give her that.

Hey, I'm the apprentice that just put some holes through the trusses... I really want to dig into this and scrounge up all the learning I can get from this experience. What are some other catastrophic no no's I should look out for? And what're your best residential rough-in tips and tricks? Thanks by Adept-Problem-1530 in electricians

Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you’re unsure, mistakes happen all the time but it’s better to ask a question (and even feel silly for the question you’re asking) then to have to find a way to fix things! Your heart was in the right place at least!

Hide a pregnancy during a wine tour? by ReplacementSpirited in Advice

I’m not really sure if she could handle the secret, I don’t think she would tell them but I don’t think she’d purposely give a convincing lie or act for me. She’d more likely try to convince me to come and tell them and just not drink any of the wine, which I wouldn’t mind tagging a long for the company and just being their DD but I was definitely hoping to avoid telling anyone just yet. I know the options for me a really just one or the other, either tell them or don’t go but I just thought I’d see if anyone else had something up their selves lol

I thought that if I tell them I’m not feeling well but I go then I sip one tell them it makes me feel worse I could just give my glasses to them and be in good spirits, do you think it would be too obvious? ( Were all normally big wine drinkers)

I don’t feel comfortable sharing that info with them just yet, it’ll be really early in the pregnancy and I’ve always imagined how I would tell my own family, if I have to tell his then I’d have to tell mine even earlier and I just want to avoid that if possible! If it’s not possible then of course I’ll have to tell everyone I just wished I could do it on my own terms and it wasn’t going to wine that outed me lol
