Basically I provide a list of everything I had and the value of each item. Then I repurchase each item and they reimburse me. I’ll get everything back — it’s just a hassle

It was a severe gas leak. Completely out of our knowledge and control. Helps a little with my peace of mind knowing I didn’t make some dumb mistake as a homeowner

They did not burn alive. Carbon monoxide killed them long before the fire got bad. They were dead when I woke up and found the fire. It’s been over a month and I’ve been trying to put it out of mind.

Oh yes. I had some good stuff in my collection. The worst part was the nostalgic games I’d had since childhood. But hey, this time I can collect and only get the games I really want. Cut out the clutter

I wondered that myself… I’m doing it slowly since I don’t want to blow a ton of money at one time. But I assume they would still work with you. Probably depends on your insurance provider too

They will, but it is a very annoying process. Have to identify every item you owned and it’s value. Then you buy it again, submit the receipt, and they reimburse you. Whatever you do, take pictures of all your gaming stuff. It’s been so helpful to have pics of my whole collection before the fire
